Non-Functional Right Out of the Box

HP website says this means print head or printer needs to be replaced. Spent over an hour on the phone with the Geek Squad troubleshooting. Included downloading software. No resolution. Finally just returned printer. Very frustrating. Do not buy this printer

Not worth the trouble

But for some reason the drivers stop working across multiple devices. We have 3 laptops and 1 pc and it works one day. The next day, it says printer is offline or not discoverable. We have removed it and added it again to various devices with success, then a few days later were back to square one. Weve updated drivers, done countless google searches for fixes, and we still have this problem 2 years later. I would not recommend this printer.

Totally disappointed with its function. Unable to print double sided on plain paper- because the option to print will not allow me to change from photo paper to plain. Have had to completely shut down the printer after printing a file, because the next file will not load to the printer. I am regretting buying this printer. Would not recommend - it also if very load. Color quality is also poor.

Not worth the money

If anything I’ve printed more diagnostics pages than for anything else. Do NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. HP even sent me out a new cyan and that did not work as well. To think when I first got the printer it printed a line on my page and HP told me because it didn’t do it when printed through one way the issue wasn’t important. I’ve gone through ink cartridges just trying to resolve this problem as well.

It’s ok when it connects

Fax is no good

Piece of crap printer

This piece of crap looses connection all the time and is very difficult to reconnect. Defaults to 5ghz which i never use and setup is not able to be done on my computer??!! I have to touch the tiny touch screen on the printer! It must be me and the learning curve! I hope its me and not the HP technology. Not a happy loyal Best Buy custoner!!

Every morning i have to go though the process of putting it back online cause its goes offline everyday. The ink didn't last long for the jobs on doing. Guess i should have looked how many pages i could get out of the ink before i purchased it. this product is something i will not purchase again. i give this 2 thumbs down.

Next, I can’t say for certain what happened with the ink supply in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program.
If you’ve installed replacement cartridges, the XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 825 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce about 300 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.
Regardless, if the offline problem persists, or your page-yield results differ dramatically from the estimates above, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. Be Aware

There is no warranty they tell me because this printer was a resale, I was not informed about purchasing a returned printer. I was told there was a 1 year warranty on the printer, well again there is not, so disappointed in Best Buy and employee for not telling the truth about the printer.
