Great Printer At A Very Good Price

Just got this printer set up a few days ago. I first want to comment about my on-line buying experience with Best Buy. I researched a number of printers very thoroughly that Best Buy offered. The overall experience was very good from selecting the printer to placing/paying for the order to the delivery. They kept me updated throughout the process. As for the printer, I couldn't be more pleased. Setting the printer up was very easy, which I was nervous about. In making the wireless connection it surprised me how easy it was. I'm not a "techy" kind of person so I was worried about how the wireless connection would go but the printer did it by itself. I didn't have to enter pass words or reply to prompts. It just did it all itself. I would say the entire process took less than 30 minutes. I just sat there and watched it go through all the prompts by itself after I loaded the print cartridges, which was a snap. One of the major features I like about this printer is the auto replenish which I signed up for. I like the idea of the auto replenish because I know I will be getting the right cartridge coming direct from the HP. My previous printer was an Epson that was less than a year old that I was buying really cheap, knockoff, print cartridges from Ebay that just destroyed the printer. The print alignment got so bad that it wouldn't even align the print heads anymore so I learned my lesson. Don't buy cheap print cartridges! Only buy the manufacturer's! With this HP printer I believe it has a chip in it that makes it so it will only accept a HP manufactured cartridge & I like that. About the only negative I can say about the printer so far, keeping in mind that I have only been using it for a few days, is that the paper tray seems a bit sticky to open & close & was initially a bit confusing on how to load paper and close the tray. It just seems to not open/close smoothly. I think I will probably have to get more comfortable with it & hopefully that issue will go away over time. Highly recommend this printer for the price.

Picked this one up to help with getting my children’s school done with the current switch to online learning. I actually drove to 3 different places to find this printer model, before seeing that it was available for curbside pickup (which was awesome, and I’m grateful for how easy this was) at a Best Buy 30 minutes from my home. I got a great deal ($100 off of the normal price because of a promotion, and I got what turns into 10 months of free ink from HP)! I got it home and it was so easy to connect—which I was worried about because I use a MacBook Air, which can be tricky to begin with but also doesn’t have a CD drive for software downloads. It was very simple to set up, and the HP app is a quick download for any other device, making wireless printing simple from any device. I love the ink service and just got my first shipment of ink. It’s so great to no longer have to remember what type of cartridge it takes and constantly second guess myself at the register after picking up what I think is right.
The downside (which I had with my old printer and may be a connectivity issue on my end) is that I find myself having to constantly switch channels for my router between extended times of no use. Otherwise, it was a great buy, especially at the price I got it. It feels like a step up from a standard home printer to something that could actually be a great home office printer. I am a full time college student, and I have four kids in school, and this printer was a great life-saver when everything got switched to online!

This is an excellent all-in-one printer I decided to take a chance on after reading the reviews.
It immediately connected to my home wifi during setup .
We were able to to connect to our iPhones and iPads with ease using the HP Smart app.
I also like I can print from anywhere out side of house if needed via my phone.
I also like the smaller profile and it is much quieter.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED......

Printer takes too long to start up

Pros: It's sleek and doesn't take up as much space as most other all in one printers. Setup was very easy. Price is reasonable. Print quality so far is good.
Cons: Takes much too long to start up from inactive mode. It's faster from standby mode. And I don't know how long it takes for it to go into an active mode, but when it does expect it to take at least one extra minute before it starts printing. For some reason that minute seems to take forever to me.
Lesson: Next time I would investigate how long it takes to get the first page printed, not just how fast it takes to print each page. I'm not even sure if that data exists! But it should!

Had to replace hp 6970 that died after only 3 very minimal use years. So thought I would give HP another chance. Glad I did. This was super easy to connect, quiet and so far pleased with purchase. The color was stated as brown but looks dark gray to me. Only negative is paper tray part you pull out to print is a little flimsy.

HP 8035 3 month review

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 is a reasonable “All-in-One” system
The printer is fast with 20 ppm black & white and 10 ppm color.
The printer is a compact size that doesn't take up a lot of space on a desk or table. The printer's photo printing quality and color accuracy are decent enough for casual photos. Its flatbed scanner and high scan resolution make it easy to scan in photos and the automatic document feeder for scanning multi-page documents.
Setup and connection to the internet was a breeze. All I had to do is to follow a link in the instructions on a phone or computer and download the HP printer app. The App walks you through the setup process. I quickly connected multiple computers, tablets and phones to the printer.
The drawback on the printer is that it lacks duplex scanning capability, so you have to manually flip over the double-sided pages, the small ink cartridge size
I can recommend the HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 as a family household printer.

This printer is so easy to use! You also get signed up for HP instant ink and they’ll send you new ink once you’re running low. It takes the trip to the store off your todo list. The printing speed and print quality are excellent! Highly recommend.

This is a definite upgrade from my old HP Envy. Setup was super easy and I'm the LAST person to hook up anything with electronics! Super quiet printing. Fast and best part.. paper doesn't fly off the tray after printing. The view window is larger for me to read/see. I had zero problems installing the Apps on my ipad, iPhone and Android smart phone. Even has its own fax line #! Loads of features and the free subscription to instant ink is another great bonus. I did buy some photo paper but haven't used it yet but did print a copy of an id on paper and it turned out well.. For the price it sure is a great deal and seems to have great features.

With Covid-19 and rise of distance learning, we had a need to get a super duper awesome terrific printer (really just something to print out worksheets). This printer met the needs. Fresh printed papers are dripping with crisp ink (not dripping as in wet but dripping as in excellent, popping off the paper, bright, vivid, explosive).
Google cloud printing? Yes, it can do this. Hooked up to kids new chromebooks and can print with ease
Scanning documents? Easy setup
Fax? Yep, it can do that
Print by email? Yes, easy to setup, nifty, awesome.
Do I recommend this printer? You bet, this printer got plenty of swag. I would recommend purchasing it.

I purchased the 8035 about a month ago (note: this is not the 8035e). Set up went well with one slight glitch which I was able to solve in a chat with an HP tech. Since then, I have done quite a bit of printing and scanning. The HP Smart app works very well for printing from my phone and iPad. I have not printed pictures yet, but I did print a couple of art prints (from my phone) for my 3-year-old grandson on plain paper and they came out very well. I had instant ink with my old HP and it is a good deal. You choose a plan (50 pages, 100 pages, etc. per month) and ink is shipped when you need it. You're also allowed 3x your monthly plan in rollover pages. Scanning and copying work well. It is also much quieter than my old HP. I can print anytime without disturbing anyone else. So far, I'm quite pleased with this AIO.

I had concerns about the HP Instant ink and about the reliability of this printer, I am a home based business and use my printer every day and so far I am happy with my purchase. It prints quickly, was easy to set up and I have already received my first order of replacement ink even though I do not need any, but its great to have it on hand when I do need it. Only drawback is the paper tray is located under the arm that catches the printed pages so every time you need to add paper you have to push in the arm to open the paper tray and both feel a little flimsy, other than that I am happy with my purchase.

Best replacement for my HP 8620-was 3 1/2yrs old

I looked to replace exactly my HP8620 (had a HP8600 before) and found that duplex scanning and a long flat bed-beyond 8 1/2x11, was so very expensive and no longer in my price range. I use printers as a business/charity activities/personal everyday, and found the HP Envy does everything I need (found duplex scanning was only a Want, and no longer really needed).
Print and scan speed is very good and quieter than previous HP models. Printer takes less space, lighter and fax capabilities as well as network are excellent. Selected the 'Instant Ink system' and so far works, cheaper, and replacements arrive long before I run out of ink...a real requirement for me.
Only have used it one month - heavily printing and scanning during this season, no jams or ink smearing, and great print for photos and documents everytime. Definitely satisfied with my purchase, and the Bestbuy rep was very helpful.

Have had the printer for a month. Good printer for home, working remotely. I had an Epson printer which had been acting up for several months and finally died. I needed something I could have right away or within a day or two, ant that would not break the bank. I did a little research and went to Best Buy to get this one. Quick set up, no problem with wifi printing. It prints quickly and clearly. Scanning is very easy wirelessly. The print cartridges are a little less costly than those for my Epson. I wish the paper drawer was a bit bigger and it does seem a little flimsy so I am being careful. Overall, I am happy with this printer.

Overall this is a good printer. It does seem to use quite a bit of ink. I never knew there was a built in cartridge cleaver so you could clean the print head. I don’t really like using HO instant ink but it has saved me multiple times. Fax works good and scanner is nice- since it has the top feed option.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-In-One makes great copies in both, color and black and white. Using the double-sided feature took longer than I anticipated, but I was well pleased with the outcome of the finished product. The printer is big, but it is very lightweight for moving from one area to another. The color of the copier is nice, but the material looks low on budget. Using the printer is easy. Removing the paper tray is challenging at times. It gets often gets stuck. Overall, I like the printer and I am having great success with using it for my printing needs.

Easy Peasy set up and connection to wifi and multiple devices. HP app on laptop is very clear on options and scanning is a dream. The function screen has more pixels than previous so it’s easy to read even in low light. Quiet and crisp, fast copies.
I do not use any of the ink ordering choices and turned off all those tracking/info sharing to HP (yes it’s possible). While doing your set-up, take the time to ready each screen option and make good choices!

This printer is great for all around printing jobs. Easy to use, good quality printing. The paper tray was not designed very well, though, and is somewhat difficult to move in and out. It is also a little difficult to maneuver when there is a printing job going on and you need to add paper. Otherwise, very good printer for the money.

We are a small business and this printer turns out professional looking documents. We’ve only been using it a couple of weeks; hopefully, I won’t have to modify my opinion down the road. I like that it has separate ink cartridges for each color. So far, the only criticism is that the tray that the printed paper slides onto is too short. The overall printer size is great-it doesn’t take up too much desk space.
