    Happy with my HP

I am very happy with my HP Printer. I do a lot of front and back printing, so having that feature makes it convenient. The fax machine is simple to use and works great. I don't care for the paper drawer. It doesn't pull out easy, like my previous HP, and makes it an inconvenience when having to deal with it. I'm quite sure it be the first thing to break. And the ink is expensive.

The printer originally was a godsend but now I am having problems with the paper tray, which seems to be a little flimsy and paper jams. I preferred a printer in which you inserted the paper from the top rather than a tray that pulls out but circumstances didn't allow me to purchase one of those. I didn't order ink with the purchase and the ink that came with the printer ran out in no time. I ordered more but it hasn't come yet even though the message states that my ink is dangerously low. The print quality is good, I only printed 1 photo and the quality on that was also good. It's a little slower than the desk top Cannon. I like the fact that it prints on both sides without having to re-load. Because I never previously scanned, I can't compare it to any others that scan but I have used that feature a couple of times and like the fact that I can and I will be doing more scanning in the future. Overall, I guess it's OK, I'll be able to give a real critique after I've used it for a longer period of time; right now, I can only rate it Average. We'll see wlhat happens in a couple of months.

Works really great. Super easy to set up and came with 1 yr of hp smart ink. You actually get 6 months free and a $30 credit in the $5 per month plan. I really like the hp smart app. It works well with both my Mac and my PC. Double sided copying is very easy. The printer is fast and relatively quiet. I wish it scanned both front and back but if that’s important to you, you can spend about $30 more for an upgraded version. Overall, very happy.

Quality, Compact Printer for the Price

Wireless works great with an HP Pavilion Laptop, but my Microsoft Surface Tablet and (work) Dell Elitebook refuse, so it's cabled to the tablet. Good quality print and scan, haven't needed to fax. Setup was easier the second time (first for me, second for the grands). Print cartridge replacement is easy so no complaints other than wishing the color options for the top were still/more available. Drab office gray doesn't appeal to 18 year olds.

Very happy with this printer. Prints quickly, was easy to install and connect to my network and my computers, phones, and tablets. A bit noisey. My only complaint so far - seems a bit cheaply made - especially the expandable drawer that adjusts where the printed docs or pictures come out - a bit flimsy. But so far, so good. I signed up for the instant ink, and that is a bonus - one year free!

Printer is fine (need to use HP tech to set up)

I purchased about a month ago. The printer is actually as I expected after reading the reviews. Prints fine/Scans fine and mobile app is easy on devices. The reviews said the paper tray and the whole thing really is not sturdy .. this is true, the whole thing seems fragile. If you need to access the paper tray constantly or have to lift the lid to use the bay multiple times a day I would NOT recommend this printer. However if it is just being sent print jobs and scan via the doc feeder it should be fine. Installing on a desktop or laptop I would recommend using getting an HP tech to help setup. This process takes a while but they way they install ensures all aspects of the printer work. Just using the HP App on any device will not. Anyway, after about 3 weeks I noticed a light blue line down the middle of each document I scanned. I called HP help, diagnosed over the phone, and they ended up sending another printer. The printer arrived quickly, but I had to get back on the phone with them AGAIN to install it correctly. Again, since I knew it would take a while I didn't mind as I knew it would be done correctly. So bottom line .. HP help/support is great .. the printer seems fine, but I've already had to replace the original.

All-around great printer for the price

Overall this is a great inkjet printer for a decent price. It takes 4 cartridges in total, each with an option for size at regular or XL, and for black ink particularly, a size larger than XL. The print quality is good, the setup is easy, and of course the wireless printing option is convenient. Add to this the cleverly designed HP Instant Ink subscription and the convenience of use multiplies. I also particularly like the design of the machine itself, the two-tone gives it a stylish, modern appearance.

Great printer for the price, full of features from picture print to fax. Prints quietly and efficiently. Purchased for my daughter for college, even her roommates use it. Is WiFi connection enabled which makes printing for her very easy. Synchronization with laptops and WiFi system was simple and easy to complete. She’s had no issues with the printer with a years worth of heavy use. Very happy with this durable printer.

It works fine. It was easy to set up and pair it with my computer. I do wish the lid of the paper tray would pull out further because it’s just not long enough for 81/2”x11” paper to roll out totally flat, especially if one is doing a large printing job. The review said it was better than the previous model (HPPro 8610) but I do like the old model better.

When one buys a printer, they expect it to print, and this device does not disappoint. The printer was easy to set up, and has functioned well. As a family, we utilize Apple, Android, and IBM devices, and all have been able to connect, and use the printer easily. Print quality is very good, and the device was not expensive, so it has been pleasantly accepted. I have had other HP printers, and have had good experiences with all of them. I expect the same from this one for several years.

This is a pretty good quality and fast inkjet, with all needed features, and near-business durability, but do NOT use the Instant Ink, and I now try to get folks to migrate to laser printers, which are so much less expensive in the long run.

We went to our Best Buy to buy a replacement for our recently deceased ancient HP printer. The sales consultant we talked with was very knowledgeable about all the printers, and described them well. He said he bought this one so we went home and researched it a bit more. There are always differing opinions so we decided to buy, anyway. We have had it now for over a month and LOVE it. Very easy setup. Easy ink installation. Good print quality. Easy setup for WiFi and an option for remote emailing to print (probably works except that our internet service is terrible and crashes every day!) BEST OF ALL - it has it’s own internal WiFi so if your internet goes down, you just key in the code on the printer screen to print! Once you have used that, you only need to go to your WiFi setup on your computer or device and select the printer to print! Our printer came with 8 months of ink included. We actually love the automatic ink mailings! You can select how much you want to pay per month (less than $5!) - much less than what we were paying for ink previously but the same size cartridges! Easy to print double-sided so save on paper, too. This printer is a very good buy!

I recently purchased and set up this printer and it was easy. I am not a “techie” but I was amazed as to how easy it was. The printer is quiet and easy to use. It would be an asset if the paper tray could extend to keep printed sheets from falling every where. I think the cartridge refill is a plus, but not sure I will utilize it because this printer is for personal use.

This printer was a cinch to set up (and I'm a 75 year old female). I've had it for nearly a month now. It prints beautifully and I'm thrilled that it's wireless. I had to return a Canon Pixma a few months ago. Could not get it to work well. After more research, I found this one and am thrilled I did. It makes my life so much easier.

Last HP printer in this series lasted nine years. This one has better viewing tilt screen easier to see and lest complicated to use the paper tray need redesign. Both printers the paper tray is difficult to pull straight out. Wants to come out crooked. Design or mfg problem. Makes printer feel cheep this one is quieter an no vibration when Pringle’s multiple pages
