a little difficult to connect to the desktop, but with customer support it was okay, not a fan of the ink plan

We have always owned hp printers. I will say this printer hp8035 is amazing,the print Per minute blows me away 18 per minute. I will always be in the HP FAMILY.

This printer is awesome. I use it for my business I love the laser future of this printer so I don’t have to go to Staples or FedEx I can do it right from home.

Set-up was easy and the printer worked great until the manufacturer supplied ink cartridges needed replacing. I opted out of HP's instant ink refill subscription plan and instead purchased a set of cartridges at Office Depot the same day I purchased the printer. After 2 months of light use, the printer would not print because 2 of the manufacturer supplied cartridges needed replacement. I opened the set of cartridges I had purchased at Office Depot and replaced all of the cartridges that had come with the printer. I got a message that the cartridges were "incompatible" with the printer, even though they were official HP cartridges and were the exact recommended number. After 2 days of HP support searches, HP support chats and recommended work-a-rounds & advice from other HP printer users (found on google searches), I returned the cartridges to Office Depot. They told me that 2 of the HP color cartridges had been recalled months ago and to this day, they could not be obtained either singly or in sets. Therefore I had a printer that would not and could not print. I returned the printer. Not sure how this plays out for instant ink subscription holders, but if you are not wanting to subscribe to the instant ink program and instead wanting to purchase replacement ink off the shelf, do not purchase this printer!

love my printer. I use for it everything. I print almost each day and never have I had a problem.

Took a little while to set up. Went to trusty Geek first to get started but had to go to HP tech to get it done. HP tech was very patient and knowledgeable.

I an a preschool teacher and i use this printer to things for my classroom. It works so great. I bought it for the instant ink program. You will save so much on ink! Highly recommend!!!

So far working great. Geek Squad installed and did a great job and very informative.

I have always received Good help from people at Best Buy for the product I have purchased. The printer I bought for my wife is excellent for her working from home. It does everything She need .

Sadly, I had to replace this printer three times just to find out it wasn’t compatible with the software, which makes no sense because I had HP Smart downloaded. Maybe it was just my laptop. I think it has great potential, but one thing with HP printers is that they have connectivity issues, and it is such a pain. Something to be conscious of.

Only one concern/. The out put tray doesn’t extend to hold pages flat as they exit the printer. Major concern for me mainly for multiple docs to stay in order.

Bought this for our daughter that is moving to WA...gave it a 5 based on experience with other HP MFP products...expect this will perform equally as well as those.

Out performs every printer I have had. Am glad that Geek Squad recommended it to me.

It took a while to complete all the registrations and online setup, but once that was accomplished, the printer and all of its functions are working fine.

THIS PRINTER IS AWFUL, AS IS HP CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BEST BUY'S CUSTOMER SERVICE, BECAUSE NO HUMAN BEING AT BEST BUY EVEN PICKS UP THE PHONE. THE FAX FUNCTION DOES. NOT. WORK. ON THIS PRINTER. HP'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IN INDIA, AND IT TOOK ME LITERALLY 2 WEEKS, AND HUNDREDS OF PHONE CALLS TO FINALLY FIND ONE DECENT MAN IN INDIA TO HELP ME. WE WERE ON THE PHONE FOR 6 HOURS TODAY, AND HE SUPPOSEDLY SET ME UP WIRELESSLY. HOWEVER, HE STILL TOLD ME TO USE A PHONE CORD. I PLUGGED THE PHONE CORD AT THE BACK OF THE PRINTER IN THE PORT, AND TRIED TO SEND HIM A FAX. IT. NEVER. TRANSMITTED. AFTER TRYING TO FAX HIM FOR 4 HOURS, HE THEN TOLD ME, "WELL, WE REALLY DONT HAVE A FAX MACHINE HERE. BUT, IT'S A FAX NUMBER". I, OF COURSE, HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS. I HAVE NO ONE TO TEST THE FAX WITH, BECAUSE NO ONE I KNOW HAS A JOB AT THIS POINT. AND, VARIOUS STORES AND DOCTORS OFFICES AND THE HEALTH CLUB WILL NOT EVEN LET ME SEND A FAX TO THEM TO TEST IT. SO, ALL IN ALL, BETWEEN A TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HP, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING HP AND ALL THEIR GARBAGE PRODUCTS LIKE THE PLAGUE. BEST BUY IS JUST AS GUILTY AND BAD AS HP AS WELL, SINCE THEY OFFER NO GEEK SQUAD SUPPORT FOR ANY PRINTERS. AND, THE STORE NEVER PICKS UP THE PHONE.

My old Deskjet was working. I upgraded to the 8035. Just as expected, the HP does a great job.

It’s a great printer. My only problem is I’ve been use it so much I need more ink and although I signed up for easy replenish ink, the color ink is unavailable right now so that’s frustrating

I haven't asked too much of it yet, but the print quality is good. It has the most annoying process for installing ink I have ever encountered.

A little too much plastic. I feel I have to be very careful with. Especially the Paper tray.

The printer works great and the ink replacement program is also great. My only complaint is that they don’t have a replacement level for more than 700 pages a month and some months we print more than that.
