I have been only buying HP printers since the 90's and now I'm done! I'm sure this is a good all in one printer but, the ink cartridges it requires have shrunk so small that you will need ink every couple weeks ! I returned for a Cannon printer with larger ink capacity.

This printer has had issues from the beginning but it was the only printer Best Buy had available at the time of purchase. It lasted a year and a half and now doesn't print. Can not recommend this. I think I'm now stuck with it.

The printer is fine, decent for the price, but the scanning function leaves a great deal to be desired. The scans are always very dark. I don't want to have to take extra steps to lighten them up, say, in another program so that gets a 1 for me. As far as recommendation, it depends on what you're looking for. Printing function, ok for the price so I'd recommend it.

The wireless function on this machine does not reliably work for scanning. Printing is only a bit more reliable. This was purchased for use for a small 3-person office. We ended up using a USB cable to one computer and it is the dedicated printer/scanner for that machine. It does fine for that purpose but seems to burn through a lot of ink for the number of pages it prints.

ONLY WORKED CORRECTLY FOR A YEAR

This printer lasted one year and then the blue ink stopped printing. I don't use that heavily so would guess I printed no more than 500 pages in color total over the year. I spent hours on chat and the phone with HP support just to learn that the printer was broken and now would no longer print blue anymore. Trying to get anything figured out with HP support is a nightmare. You have to go through chat, which I did, thinking it was taken care of and then no further information. It is so hard to figure out how to reach an actual person and I spent over an hour with them. After hours of my time trying to get my printer to work correctly again, I have a printer that no longer prints in blue with no option. I am so disappointed with HP customer service and this printer. What a waste of money! I would recommend staying away from HP.

Bad product and no HP Tech Support at all

Nice looking machine with all the features I need. But it didn't work. I spent 3 weeks trying to get it to stay on-line, using all the non-human Tech-support offered by HP, which was totally useless! There was NO POSSIBILITY of talking to a human to get the machine to work; I don't believe HP has any humans in its employ. Best Buy's Geek Squard took over my computer to troubleshoot and fix the printer connection; spent over 45 minutes, and that too failed to fix the problem. I finally took it back and bought an Epson. Hopefully that will work. Do not buy an HP printer! Bad equipment and absolutely NO SUPPORT!!!

After only one year, this HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 just stopped working for no reason. It looks great, but wasn't working for a while so Best Buy suggested getting a replacement since I had replacement coverage, which I did. It was good when it worked for about one year.

Returned - Scanned Pages with a Tilt

This seemed like a fine printer.. easy to hook up and get connected to wifi. However, when emailing the scanned pages fed through the feeder, they were always on a slant/tilted. Couldn't deliver that product to my clients. Positive HP support but there was no fixing the problem.
