Lacking one thing

It prints in good color and fairly fast for a desktop printer. The scanner works well and isn't slow. The only thing it lacks is being able to set a default folder and scan directly to it without having to scan into the software and then save to a folder.

A disk would be nice to download instructions to connect printer to computer. I purchased a new computer and the printer at the same time and I still haven't been able to connect them. I have printed some things that did not need my computer and it did a good job

The Printer is Good but Trays Are Loose and Flimsy

I wanted to upgrade so I bought the 8035e. The only thing I am not happy with is the trays. They are like don't fit. WhenI pull the tray out or push it back in, the paper tray as well as the tray above it for catching the papers when the come out after being printed. Both of those trays were like flimsy and gets stuck coming out or going back in the slots. Very frustrated. Feel like the tray is going to break any moment. Unlike the HP 5P, that printer and the trays were so solid that they stay with me for over 15 years before it dropped at the door steps when we were moving. The new printers are not made as well as the old ones.

This printer has been great so far. The auto ship of ink, has definitely saved money so far. Have not had any issues and the quality of print is great. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone in need of an all in one. And wants to save money on ink.

New printer, old one is fazing out

Only complaint so far is that it doesn't seam to be able to print on any paper smaller than 8 1/2 X 11 or 14, excluding envelops. We print a lot of shorter than 11" documents as printing on full size is a waste of paper.
