I had another Printer available, so I returned my purchased Printer. The return process was excellent at the Best Buy where I purchased the unit, I was very late in returning it so I got my refund in Best Buy Card. And the store took care of my original failed machine for recycle. It was a very good event for me. The employee was excellent.

Thanks for the review and the feedback. While I’m glad you like the print quality your printer has delivered, I’m sorry that it has used ink more rapidly than you’d anticipated. I can certainly see why that would be an unwelcome surprise. I want to help you understand what’s happening with the device and remedy the problem if one exists, so I’ll offer what I hope are useful resources and information.
First, I can’t tell from your review how many prints you’ve gotten from a set of cartridges, but I’ll point out that some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program. If you’ve used only the cartridges that came with the printer, this could explain what you’re seeing.
However, if you’ve installed replacement cartridges, the XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 825 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce about 300 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.
Regardless, if you have further concerns or questions about your printer’s performance, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

The multi-function is what appealed to me most. WiFi print from anywhere works well, I have printed from my phone using the app, my daughter prints from her Chromebook and I print from my laptop. I like the scanner feed option, however the scanner is not always recognized by my laptop and the printer drops from my home network frequently. This is frustrating and to fix I need to turn everything off and turn it back on. It also only scans as jpeg, png or bmp. Instant Ink seems like it is going to be nice. With two high school aged kids at home we seemed to always run out of ink. HP have already sent me my next set of inks.
