An outstanding printer for home or office use. It's quiet, fast and clean. Prints from wireless devices, e.g. iPad, iPhone, MacBook or iMac with no problems. Easy to set up and easy to use.

I was surprised at how good this printer is. Some people apparently get a lemon and dislike this printer. I haven't had a bit of trouble with it. It has been great right out of the box. I was also able to find refilled cartridges for it, so the ink cost is even lower (but it was already the low-cost leader per page.) It set up easily and quickly with my wireless network. All 4 of my computers (and my two iPads) print to it. No problems with set up on them, either. I wasn't originally looking at an HP printer but this one has been a pleasant surprise.

Love this printer. Its a great AND AFFORDABLE upgrade from my old printer I've lived with for 8 years. I mostly print documents - b/w The photo options looks great, I just don't use it much.

I have heard some stories about this printer that could make most grown adults cry. If I would have read them before the purchase, I would not have purchased it after all I was looking for a laser printer. However I have used and owned hp products over the years and have been happy so when I started to unpack and set up and then reviewed some of these troubled stories of what I could be about to run into I quickly grew upset, BUT as it turns out I have had not one problem with it to date. Consider me Happy!! Ps love the look, but that touch screen could be bigger but atlas yes they do offer one that has a bigger screen and it wont cost you a fist full of dollars ;)

The HP Officejet Pro 8600 is a reliable piece of equipment for any office. I enjoy the touch screen capabilities and the wireless function. The amount of time to print document is fast.

If your looking for a good quality, inexpensive printer THIS IS IT! Easy to set up and get going right away. Best part is e print. Now I can print from anywhere and from most of my devices.

I was hesitant when I bought this printer, but it has been great! Photo's print very nice. Love the 2 sided printing capability. Holds a lot more paper than my old HP printer. The WI FI is working great with all of my devices. Hope this continues because so far I am very pleased.

This is the best printer I have purchased. Easy set up, great price, and love the fact that it has the different color cartridges so you only have to replace the color that is low.

It prints fast, it has all the options including fax capabilties.It communicates well with windows8 and the ink refills are reasonable.

I purchased this to replace an HP 6310. It is really more printer than most need for home use and more than I need at the moment. However, I have a wired network and I found only one other HP printer with Ethernet capability in or near this price range and it was almost universally panned by users. *Note most other manufactures have eliminated Ethernet capability from their lower priced printers as well. I have not tested this printer's wireless capability. The printer is easy to set up but be aware, even though fax setup is part of the install process you will need to run fax setup again in order to set parameters such as answering machine and/or other phone using the same line as the printer. This is done from the browser interface on the fax tab. I note a large number of users inquire about the HP Toolbox and the instructions with this printer are dated as the software has been updated, at least for the 64-bit version. The HP Toolbox can be reached by going to Start/All Programs/HP/HP Officejet Pro 8600-click the sub heading HP Officejet Pro 8600 which opens the HP Printer Assistant and click "Estimated Ink Levels." This will open the HP Toolbox. The only real "con" is the huge footprint. This is a large printer meant for moderate to heavy office demands. Overall, it prints and scans quite fast in comparison to my previous 6310. Overall quality of prints and scans is excellent. Ink consumption as with most inkjets depends on selected print quality, coverage and how much color is needed for the printed page. While this printer can print photos and do so quite well you still might want to consider a printer designed specifically for that task if that is your primary need. You can usually test printers in the store and I would do so before making a purchase for that purpose. Also note, this is the least expensive of the 8600s. It is the N911a and does not scan directly to email. This is not noted on the packaging and it is difficult to find the specific feature differences of the 8600 models. Though a minor difference from other 8600s if this is important to you this model does not have that function.

Replaced my old Epson Inkjet printer. Very Easy Set up.. I like the E Print, Network, and over all quality. HARD to find Ink for this printer. But overall it a great unit.

easy to set up and use, prints super fast , faxes really fast, cant find anything bad about the whole machine. been telling everybody how good this product is.SUPER A+ SYSTEM.

This is my 3rd HP office printer. This one is by far the best 1 I have come across. I use it in my home a lot home and personal. I am a apartment manager and I use it to do all of my leases and tenant information. The print is fast and crisp. I have not printed any photos yet but I expect no less than great! I also bought it on sale ($50.00 off!) which was icing on the cake. Great customer care through HP. I bought the extended warranty though HP with the savings to extend the warranty for 4 years.

I love being able to print wirelessly, and scan copy and fax from home. Print quality is very good for documents and photos. Once the printer is set up it is simple to use.

The printer is large and takes alot of space. Prints fast has double sided printing, wireless printing, and scanning. Overall a good Printer but takes up alot of space.

This printer was easy to set up. Love that it has an email and can send domething ti print from any device. I am usually technology challanged but this us easy!!!!!!

Used in our business primarily to print documents. It is nice to have an all in one that can also make copies, scan and fax. It prints well and we are happy with it.

It was easy to assemble and hook up to our computers. Works great and has great color and prints on both sides automatically. We are very happy with this product.
