Easiest setup I've had over 6 different devices. Communicates more quickly over WiFi with my devices than any other printer I've owned, and the quality is great.

Compared to the Kodak and Epson I use at work OMG this is hands down the best brand. I have always used HP at home, and now I am sure the features, quality, price, and speed of HP compared to 2 other "major brands" I use regularly are the major selling points.

We've had HP printers forever but decided to go with an Epson XP-800 printer that had been recommended by Consumer Reports. Big mistake. Had to replace it 3 different times within 3 months before finally giving up and going back to HP. The printer was quick and easy to set up and simply works with all of my computers (iMacs, PC's, iPads, etc.). Have only had it a month, so hopefully it keeps going.

This is a great printer for home usage, the combination of it being tray feed for scanning and faxing and being able to do wireless printing is definitely some added factors that make this printer more attractive. I am normally not a fan of HP printers but I got some usage in with this one in an office environment and liked it so much decided to roll it over and purchase one for home usage.

This printer is great for both office and home use. Its easy to set up and use. Print quality for documents is clear and fast. Pictures come out with very bright colors and also very fast. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that it makes a lot of noise during its maintenance runs. But if that's what it takes to maintain the quality, it's well worth the slight annoyance.

While the quality of this printer and scanner is pretty good, the fact that non HP print carts don't work well in it is a detriment. In this day and age of recycling and generic refills, HP should give up trying to force the printer owners to buy only HP Ink Jet refills or dramatically lower their price to be competitive with generic refills.

I exchanged the Envy printer (which was terrible) for the 8600. This printer offers speedy printing and good quality. It's a real workhorse and always responds quickly. I've also printed photos which were super. I do miss the separate photo paper tray. So far, the ink cartridges seem to indicate that it's not ink-hungry. Make sure the paper is inserted properly or it will jam easily.

I bought this HP all in one printer for my small business, and I love it haven't had any problems with it.

The reviews about this printer came true - not good! I tried this printer because it was highly recommended by sales people at two different stores. While this 3-in-1 looks sleek and classy, it did not feed well, jammed, and worked well only when it wanted to. The guides on the paper feed don't stay in place very well, and in scan mode it works perfectly fine until it suddenly decides not to. I wanted to like the machine because of the many functions, it's price, and it's beauty, but I returned it for the Brother MFC 7360N that lives up to its five-star ratings for this price range. The brother is a compact, sturdy, reliable workhorse. I use it primarily for scanning. The brother scans in color but is not a color printer. It does not have the duplex function. But, because of its reliability, I love my Brother for getting rid of all the paper clutter in my house!
