This is a good Basic printer and copier. Had no problem setting it up, works well with my wifi system. The quality of the prints are great. I have used it for some photos and it worked well, though not quite as well as a photo printer would. It does take up quite a bit of space and is heavy, so prepare for that. But overall this is great multi printer.

I thought I would never purchase another printer by HP. However, the salesman at Best Buy told me that I would save a lot of money on this printer, and he was absolutely correct! It does all the necessary things that I need.

Great all purpose printer... Photos or documents. Works with cell phone! I have been using HPofficejet printers since the product line wad first introduced. I would recommend over any other brand for home or home office use.

This is an excellent printer that prints, fax and copies. Setting it up for wireless was a bit challenging as I am not tech savy. Once installed, it has worked well without any problems.

My 8600 replaced the 6500 which was difficult to set up, the Wi-fi dropped out constantly. Not so with the 8600. Getting started was little more than running the DVD and let it do the work. Print quality is good and reasonably fast. Even starting up the fax function was quick and easy. Strongly recommend it. Can even print from my iphone.

Fast and easy to use - good price - good wireless hookup

I purchased this printer for my home office. The most important thing for me was to be able to scan legal pages easily and to have wireless printing. The scanner is a little slow and occasionally the pages get stuck, but for the price, it's great. Also, being able to print from my phone or a completely different location is very useful to me.

I bought this primarily for printing some newsletters. I am quite satisfied with the results. The double sided printing is nice. Scan works good. I haven't tried the FAX yet, maybe some day. I have been using this printer for a couple months now with total satisfaction.

My wife and I love this printer. Took a little bit to figure out how to connect it to our cell phones, but it was worth it. The setup is quite easy and its only jammed once. The whole back pulls out from 2 clips to free the jam. No regrets from this purchase.

I'm very happy with the printer. It was very easy to set up (wireless) and begin using. The paper printing is very fast and high quality. I use the scanning quite a bit, too, and it is very easy to scan to the computer. It was important that we have a printer that is for both documents and photos, so this seems to fit the bill.

This is the best all-in-one printer that we've owned. More robust, intended for small business but great for home use. Set up was a snap -- far easier than other wireless printers we've used (those required you to connect a wire to install). Ink seems expensive.

I love this printing; I do lots of scanning for my husbands company and the sheet feeder makes it so easy and fast. The documents print quick and crisp and it doesn't go through a lot of ink as fast either. So I am very happy have always love HP's printers.

Bought it to replace an old Epson. It was easy to unpack & setup on my wireless network. Mostly will use it to print docs from laptop & ipad. The print speed is decent. My only complaint is with print cartridges. HP makes larger capacity ones which I would like see at least black come standard with their top of line printers.

It's so nice not to have to plug my laptop into to the printer every time I want to print something. When I hit "print" the printer wakes up and completes the job. I haven't tried to print anything two-sided yet, but it's an option that I like to have.

Bought device on sale and after getting recommendation from other family members who have used it. The wireless feature is nice to have multiple computers linked. Have not made much use of the scanner or fax yet but those were features my wife wanted in our next device. Overall happy with purchase after one month

I do a lot of printing, scanning, faxing and copying. The draft feature saves ink, the feeder helps with large document control. It does double-sided printing excellently with option to flip on long edge or short edge. Sometimes the scan feature leaves lines on the scanned image. I ended up purchasing another for a colleague

The HP printer on sale was a wonderful price. A good basic printer with no cable to run from the computer. Print is very clear and colors are true to the copy.It is used by my son for college papers, and copy of information needed at school..

I've only had this printer for a couple of months and it's been great so far. The ink is what I worry about mostly when buying a printer but the HP office jet cartridge is much bigger than the rest of the cartridges. The quick printing is awesome too.
