I purchased this HP Officejet Pro 8600 for a copier to copy letters and financial reports for the Homeowners Association. This machine makes good quality copies and is fast enough. I am very, very please with it's performace.

works for me. I didn't have to pore over instructions to get it installed. I could figure out how to scan a multipage document and print and copy with out having to scratch my head. It does look pretty massive sitting by my desk

Not very tech savy and set up was a breeze. We have several computers on network and this was easy. Even set up on a new laptop that I brought it from home with a push of a button. Has a few quirks when printing but easily overcomes.

My husband bought this product cause our old one was damaged in our last move. With this we can be anywhere in out place and print from it. I don't have to have people send me email to have me print out the stuff from my computer.

I'm a Linux user, and it's often hard to find good products that work first time wit this system. But this worked first time, out of the box, with wireless printing too. Speed, double sided printing, and color are all great too.

This printed is definitely worth every penny for what it does. Very simple to set up and configure for home or small business network. I have been a loyal HP printer customer for years, and this model just cements my posistion.

The printer as a whole is OK except for the method to print envelopes, ie having to remove the paper carrier, remove all of the paper from the carrier then place the envelope for printing. Once you have printed the envelope remove the carrier again, replace the stock of paper and re-insert the carrier. The engineers did not consider the consumer at all when designing this feature. My 6100 printer was a cinch to print envelopes. No need to remove anything, Also, this printer is supposed to be an "all-in-one" but doesn't scan, at least I can't find the scan mode. Outside of these 2 issues the printer is fast and prints clear pages.

This printer has been great for me printing papers for school. I have only tried to print pictures once and they were a tad dark but I think it was the quality of paper I used. Overall great printer and not terribly expensive.

I like the way the printer has a touch screen. It's prints fast and does double sided without having to program that. The one picture I printed had great color. Very happy.

So far I love this printer. I use it for my home office, but easy to print from our laptops or iPad also. So far ink seems to be holding up well. Was very easy to set up.

This is a great printer, scanner, fax. Awesome for the money. I needed a printer, scanner, fax and found this one quickly. Is kinda big but is working out beautifully

The printer is very nice, easy to use and quick to set up but the ink is very expensive to replace and I dont see myself keeping the printer very ling for this reason.

This printer replaced an older model that used a lot of ink, especially when printing in color. It was slow as well. So far, we are pleased with the speed and print quality. We really like the remote printing from our laptops.

Excellent all around printer/copier/fax/scanner - the only issue is that if you regularly print envelopes of photos you either need to constantly change the paper in the paper try or spend more $$ and buy the second tray.

4.0 on scale of 5.0. Clarity of print is great but speed of printing multi page document is slow. Quality of other functions such as fax and wirerless print function from other mobile devices is nice to have and work correctly.

This is the best printer that I have ever bought. It was on sale so it was very reasonably priced. I love the fine quality of printing. Two sided printing is a plus.

Last HP printer had inferior lid hinges that broke....this printer has superior hinges on the lid and is quick, quiet, and crisp...

Excellent for the price. This is a business class printer for the home user. Excellent features. The ability to scan, copy, fax, and cloud print along with the multiple memory stick inputs make this an awesome printer.

I have purchased this printer twice. My first one had a print head failure within days of the manufactures warranty expiring. The cost to replace the print head, cartridges, and added tax and shipping ended up costing more than a new printer with another years warranty. Even after looking at all the other printers though, none of the other ones near this price range could out do the features and ink cost per page this printer has. I would not purchase it again without an extended warranty. On one occasion, it believed I had installed ink that was not “genuine HP ink” (even though it was). Continuing with it would have voided my warranty. Although I do not use this for photos too much due to the amount of ink they take, the pictures I have printed are quite nice.

It processes print requests quickly and prints quietly, and it has duplex printing. Plugged into my wireless router (VIA CAT5) and provides network printing capabilities to all my wireless devices and wired devices.
