I think this is a good device for home use. I am only using it for a very short time and so far I am very pleased with the results. I was very surprised at the ease of set-up since I would not consider myself tech-savvy but set-up was a breeze for me. Wireless printing is awesome!! I connected my IPad and mobile phone with ease.

    Best HP printer yet...

This is a great HP printer. I have owned 5 other versions and hoping a part does not go out again. The replacement of parts costs almost the same of buying a new one, so I just keep giving HP a chance. The great points of this printer is: 1. Dual side printing 2. Quick printing 3. Mobile printing 4. Large paper tray capacity 5. Touch pad printing 6. Preload printing on touch pad 7. Clean printing 8. Color printing The only negatives I would say are: 1. Large size of product, although fits in the desk space I utilize 2. Cost of replacement cartridges Other than that, it was simple to set up and use quickly!

This HP printer is simply to use and provides both sides duplex printing. Easy transfer of my pictures to the computer. I do not use the e-print but for those who have a smart phone, that is a wonderful feature. I also like the individual color cartridges... no replacing the whole cartridge when just one color runs out.

The 8600 had a great price and I was surprised and amazed that it is wireless. I connect with USB, but it is great to know I can go wireless. The necessity to remove the paper tray to replace paper and very very annoying is to have to do that to print envelops is an inexcusable design flaw. Otherwise it is a great unit.

other than this being an elephant on my desk this printer is exceptional for document printing that looks professional and neat. It is fast and efficient. It is so far great on ink . I have not tried color or black and white photos yet but for home use it meets all my needs. IT was fairly easy to set up and even easy

we have always bought HP printers. they print excellent pictures as well as fast clear documents. and i only purchase them from Best buy because they have great customer service. if we ever have a problem with anything we buy there, they do their best to make it right. i have never been disappointed with them yet. this printer is used in out apartment, hooked up with several computers, tablets and phones. we have used the fax option several times as well. it works well over my cable telephone line. this is the same printer i would and have recommended to my mother to buy. it get no better than that

    Finally I Got An Upgrade

I've had a Officejet L7590 for over 5 years and it finally died. DEFINITELY got my money's worth from it. Not many ink cartridges bought at all over the years. So far this replacement seems like it's continuing the legacy. It's noticeably quieter then the 7590, scans faster, has updated features (obviously), and is better designed in certain areas (document feeder doesn't have sharp edges so pages are guided in better with no worries of bending edges). I can't think of any downsides to it. Included cartridges are still lasting and I got the XL ones ready for whenever they run out. From experience, it will be a good while. I print at least 3 - 5 sheets of text with some graphics (logos, etc) each day every day. It spikes here and there but that's a good average. Heavy use days are about 50 pages per day but that's not too often.

For the money, this is a decent printer for home or simple office use. It was easy to set up and I like the wireless printing. It also has a fax. The workmanship is a little shoddy in my opinion, but I guess you get what you pay for. I like the fact that it has the ability to print on both sides of the paper.

This is my 3rd HP all in one printer. They are a good work horse printer. Nothing fancy about them. Kind of a less bells and whistles means less can go wrong with it. When this one first was shipped, the feeder tray did not open wide enough. I had to bring back to the store and the one I got there was fine.

This is a great printer, and it was a great value for the money! The print quality is fantastic, and I love using the wireless printing and scanning features. The only thing so far that is even a slight negative is that it can be a bit on the slow side to start up at times. Overall, however, very pleased!

Ordered this all-in-one wireless printer from BestBuy.com along with an HP Pavilion laptop & 21" monitor, for another family member - shopped directly to them in a different state. It was reported that everything was operating well once all was connected. This particular model was purchased because we owned an older version of it and was always happy with its performance. Additionally, this purchased on sale so we got it for a great price.

We have a couple of these printers scattered around my business. They are just what we need for desktop printing. They are easy to set up and there is very little maintenance required. I would definitely recommend this model for someone looking for a high quality desktop printer at this price.

Our old Canon MP530 killed its print head so we decided to just get a new printer and that is when I came across the HP8600. The wife and I only use it for occasional school work, home office use and to copy and scan on occasion so we didn't need a workhorse, just something to last us a good long while. I was able to set it up in about 30 minutes with full access to print from any computer in our home wifi network or from either of our cell phones from anywhere we have cell signal. Not having to hook it up to a computer is really nice and printing from my phone is a nice bonus. We try to print everything in black and white and have found that many printers, to increase quality(and sell more ink), will use some color inks to make grayscale. While most of the time, you have to dig deep into settings to force "Black Ink Only." HP's software was far more accessible for the change. All in all, this machine could handle FAR more than we will ever throw at it and I doubt it would be out of place in any small office.

The printer sets up very easily for wireless and has instantaneous printing. It is very easy to put copy paper and photo paper into because of the large drawer the slides way out. The copier adjusts easily for any size paper. I also like the availability of XL ink cartridges which save money.
