We owned the previous model of this printer, and really liked it, so when we needed a second printer, this is the one we wanted. Best Buy had an excellent price on this printer! We especially like that HP makes XL sized ink cartridges for this printer, and now there is an XL size for each individual color, in addition to the XL black. Excellent printer for the price, when it is also on sale!

Works great in our new business office. Setting up the wireless networking feature was easy & smooth. Now we can all print from our laptops & mobile devices with ease

Print, copy, fax, scan..... that is what I need and I got. This HP 8610 is a working power. The WIFI feature is awesome and working with every device around my home.

So far this printer has made our work easier and hassle free. The scanner and printer are all we have used so far, but it has been problem free and works great.

It'd bigger than I wanted, but it gets the job fine the first time..very user friendly. ..

Other than some issues getting it installed and communicating with my computer, all seems good now. Haven't really tested it yet though. Enrolled in the instant ink program as well. Only time will tell.

I love the scanner. The scanner was a great help with the project that I bought this for. It does everything it says, but you can on fax a few pages at a time. That is the only fault I find with this printer.

This is a very good printer and the price was a good value, despite price of ink refills.

For an all in one printer and for the price. It's pretty great. Automatic two sided printing saves paper too. Ink lasts a long time though is pricy. Wish the scanner was a little more sensitive to detail.

Synopsis: Printer wins for the large ink volume, relative ink cost and definitely on price, but loses a bit on implementation nuisances that affect speed. Would not choose this printer if I had a lot of large documents to print. I had an Officejet Pro 8600 which started having issues with the print head. Cost made it unfeasible to just replace the head. I purchased the 8610 to replace it. It accepts the same ink cartridges, which have the largest volume of any printer that I am aware of. Got it on a flash sale for $69.99, so you definitely can't beat the price (about the cost of 4 ink cartridges). There are however some negatives unfortunately. Generally it's pretty quick, unless you use the duplex mode. First nuisance is that before flipping a page, the printing pauses for about 3 seconds. HP says with certain papers it helps to fight smearing, however it really lengthens the print time on documents. HP should consider making this a selectable option. Also, it does seem to randomly stop printing in the middle of pages, even on text only documents. This is a bigger issue in the economy duplex mode. There seems to be some kind of incompatibility with the windows 10 drivers as well. I would suggest using HP's disk and then updating to the most recent drivers from HP after installation. This improved some (though not all) of the printing speed issues.

No negatives here. I was easy and fast to set up and prints documents and pictures well.

I bought this printer to replace the HP printer when the print heads went bad. HP sent us new print heads even though our warranty expired. Both work great now.

Works as intended! I only buy HP printers and this one does the job well. It's big, but it fits inside my cabinet. Fast printing, scanning, copies--thanks, HP!

Its been an excellent fit for my home office. Simple elegant and compact which fits perfect on my office table and has all the features needed for home office.

Love this new printer! Uses the same cartridges as my old one, and other than the scan surface being backwards from my previous one, it's been a smooth transition.

No real complaints as of yet, printer seems to be functioning well, we will see when it reaches the year mark, yet to have any HP printer last over a year.

Bought the Pro 8610 to replace a 10 year old HP. Printer seems to do everything well. (Though I won't be using the fax capabilities) Have to admit the price was the deciding factor. Paid under $80.

Very easy to install wireless!! Quality, not that much. I wanted a borderless printer. And this one has the option but it wrinkle the sheets. If you want a basic printer for regular use, this is the one.
