While reading about the new HP 8700 series printers (cool design and smart new two sided printing process) discovered the 8620 at great BBY price. Decided to buy the 8620 instead of an 8700 as the specs are only slightly better and the new higher ink cost was prohibitive. will re-purpose the 8600 to wife's classroom (another teacher providing for herself and students).

tv not a good investment

gift for a family member

I have the previous year model and both are working great. not a big fan of the e print feature. haven't had any reason to use it. could have done without. this model doesn't have all the card reader inputs the 8600 has.
