The printer is fine, but HP support is terrible.

After troubleshooting, I called HP support. The first tech said it was because I had DSL (after making me rearrange the power cords.) The case manager said it was because I had DSL. I put in a new phone line, and the tech saw that the cord was defective. New cord = dial tone.
