I recently purchased this unit to replace my previous Officejet Pro and this one doesn't disappoint. It has a much more sleek style as reflected in the pictures. It's less bulkier than early models. They unit is easy to set-up. We have this set-up as a wireless network unit for our small office and it's definitely a keeper. One of the new features that we really like is the scanning to a network folder. You just pop your pages in and select the folder you want your item to scan to. It holds a little more than half a ream of paper, which is a bit more than our last model. The cartridges are easy to install with this unit and they do not need continual replacement. With an office of 4 people, we average replacement once a quarter and we print quite a bit. This unit could easy work in a residential setting as well and would be a workhorse in that environment.

The hp8620 is perfect for the home and/or home office. The scan feature is the best I've seen. It can scan from the tray multiple pages, that's not the best feature while scanning from the feeder it can scan both sides of your document if needed. The scan software that is loaded on your desktop is so easy to use. A big improvement over the previous software of the hp8500, and that one was great. This printer is so much quieter than the 8500 too. There is only one issue with the hp8620 and that is the software disk that it comes with. It didn't load correctly so I needed to call the help desk at hp and they set- up the printer on-line for me in a short time including updating the the software. The hp help desk was so easy and made my new printer shine. I am still using XP on my home desktop and works great including printing from my wife's iPad while I am hardwired with my desktop via USB.

Easy out of box, install cartridges, connect and you can print, fax, copy and scan. You have your multi-purpose office.

I have been printing a lot on my desk using my laptop. As President of the Filipino American Association in Columbus, Georgia I do a lot of review for minutes before it circulate to the members. I print it first before I do the correction and approved it for dissemination. I print a lot of news clippings, receipts, beautiful quotes, recipes and photos/pictures that I really love to keep.

It installed very easily. It prints fast and the color copies are very good. I would recommend this printer very highly.

I don't need, or use, the Fax function on this printer, but copying documents and scanning are excellent. Just scanned 180 mega bytes of documents in a short amount of time. My last HP Printer took a long time to run the scan and save to a PDF file; this model scans in less time, the OCR recognition is excellent, and saving to computer file is faster than the old printer.

This is a great printer with many convenient features like duplex scanning and printing. This is the second 8620 that I have purchased. Have owned the first since last Fall and it has been outstanding. Purchased this second unit for the office of our non-profit organization and our office team loves it.

I like the printer. It is quick and efficient. The only problem I have with it is that it prints some of the pages offline. When printing 150 letters to mail out, It will chop off the top half of the page on at least 15 of the letters. I loose 15 sheets of paper, then I have to print 15 more letters. I have not had a HP printer to do this before. Other than that, it does a great job.

I've always been happy with HP products. This unit handles duplex (both sides) scanning and printing. Printing is fast and crisp. The input hopper for scanning is big enough for most documents I have scanned. The applications are very nice. I print the NY Times summary pages frequently. The automatic ink cartridge program looks very interesting for those printing a lot.

I love my printer and it is super easy to use. It's fast & super efficient!
