Fast and Quiet

The envelope printer works well. The only awkward function is reaching the paper tray. I frequently have to load one sheet of specialty paper, address labels, etc. The scanner seems slow to open but works well once it gets going.

Incredibly versatile and great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been looking for a printer for a very long time (I was using a HP deskjet for almost a decade). I didn't want to invest into lazer printers (due to the toner prices), but wanted something worthwhile & affordable I could use in my small office. After doing a ton of research, I ended up looking at the 8620. This bad boy does it all. Legal size scans, full duplex double sided printing (with a larger quantity document feeder than 8610), exterior usb connectivity for pictures, giant touch screen, not too bulky (like the combo machines from Canon), FAX machine, and instantaneous recognition via ethernet when connecting to a network (no driver needed at all even). Just overall, the best purchase I have made this year so far, and probably will still be the best one at the end of 2015. If you can get one on sale like I did, do not hesitate!
