I had the older version for a few years, it was great. Bought this one when the old one broke and super happy with it!!

I had to replace a 7 year old HP. I chose the 8710. It does a good job for the needs I have. I'm even mote impressed by HP's replacement ink program @ $4.99 a month for 100 pages of printing. I no longer try to save my color inks by printing only in black. The yearly plan price is less than replacing all 4 ink tanks even once @ retail and the ink arrives to your door w/o ordering as the printer needs are fulfilled before you need them via the wifi link to HP. VERY SWEET!

This printer is perfect for a small business, I print about 150-200 on average every month and this is awesome. I originally started out with a small printer, but due to the amount of printing I was doing it did eat up a lot of my ink. This printer has been really good on ink, and with the ink program it's that much better. The only con I would say about this printer is that every now and then it'll double print (printing twice on the same paper, and it's not legible). Overall, I would definitely recommend this printer!

We have had this printer for about a month now and it was super easy to set up and working like a charm.

All the extra features on this printer are great! But at the end of the day, the print quality is less than great... a solid OK/fine. Would I buy it again... yes, depending on what I needed it for. I don't do a lot of printing anymore, just the occasional form or document (probably less than 100 pages per year) so this will do. But if I were printing a lot of documents, especially those with pictures/charts, I would want something with sharper output and a little faster. As a basic, do almost everything you want printer though, this is fine.

Not the fastest printer but has good quality printing and works great when printing wirelessly.

Though this printer can print many pages in a short amount of time, it is big and takes up a lot of space.
