    Don't have a good feel for ink usage yet. This printer replaces an 8610 that only lasted about a year of light use-probably why HP discontinued and substituted the 8710. Unlike my Brother laser, the 8710 allows me to print envelopes and do 2 sided printing for big print jobs for instruction manuals, internet downloads etc. Its doing a good job.

    After shopping Best Buy online for a printer, I came upon the 8710 that was on sale. I already had it's predecessor the 8610 which I liked very much. I made the purchase and am very pleased with it. It's faster than the previous model and has additional features. I also like the HP instant ink plan. Less money and you're never out of ink.
