This printer was an upgrade from a previous similar model that I had had for nearly 5 years. I really like HP so adding another HP printer was a no brainer for me. Works great with awesome features!

This unit Replaced Epson printer due to inability to get ink. Bought Epson a year ago, brand new. Went in a couple months later and None of the stores had ink refills. Not BB, not O-Max, not Staples, not WalMart.

I purchased this printer to use for making copies, printing documents, envelopes and photos. I've used for over 4 mos, and thousands of print jobs with no issues. Seems to not beat me up for ink like my last printer.

I am enjoying the printer but have major concerns about the HP Instant Ink program. I am on a three month free trial and my card was charged for two months immediately. I placed a complaint two weeks ago that has not been addressed.

The instructions were well written. One exception was selecting it for the default printer. It still required me to download software when I had already done that.

Needed one for my home office. Asked the sales person if it scanned more than one page at a time and she didn't know. Took the chance on it and it did! Easy set up (easier with a Mac) and very user friendly.

All-in-One printer works well from some of my home projects or when I'm working remotely. Toner is used fast, but I can learn to control and not print so much unless absolutely necessary.

The set-up for 8710 was straight forward, no hitches. Since this is my first 4 in 1 printer, I do not have anything else to compare it too. My wife and kids especially enjoy the Wifi print option. Si far, so good!

HP makes great reliable printers! The HP printer I am replacing is 7 years old and finally started acting up. For the price of this knew computer it wasn't worth taking my old one to a repair shop to get fixed.

The printer installed flawlessly and worked perfectly right up until it went to sleep after the first 15 minutes. Short of cycling the power on the printer, nothing from the laptop would wake up the printer, and the printer showed "offline" status. Worse, even if I pressed the touchscreen to wake up the printer, it still wouldn't print and continued to show "offline". Ironically, all of the Apple mobile devices could print at anytime, sleep or awake. I googled and others had this problem as well. Printer has latest firmware, I tried implementing a fixed IP address at the suggestion of some of the websites, and more, but nothing worked. The few printouts I got were just fine in quality, but a printer that doesn't print won't work. So back it went (even though this is the fourth generation of this type of officejet printer I've owned). Best Buy was wonderful about the return. I replaced it with the HP6978, which is a bit slower and holds less paper but started working in minutes and hasn't stopped no matter what the device sending the printout. That was one week ago. According to others on the web, the problem with the HP8710 is related to Windows 10. Scanning reviews before I subsequently bought the HP6978, no one mentioned a problem with Windows 10, and indeed, it works with that and with all of the Apple mobile devices.

Used the Best buy REPLACEMENT PLAN, and got thus instead of the Epson, which was junk. Couldn't align the heads, and the panel went out on 2 of them in less than a year (on the Epson) So far works great.

The printer basic installation went great. Connected to the wi-fi network without any issues. Test print showed the excellent quality of clear print, solid colors. However, the printer has a known issue coming out of sleep mode with Windows 10. After frustrating Googling and trying the suggestions on-line, a chat session finally cleared the problem, but the changes were greater than what was on the internet. The chat session was excellent, but the printer should not be sold with the flaw. Most people would thing the printer might be broken. That is why I gave it a 2.

Not much in the way of set up or function instructions. Maybe easy for young tech savy people, but I had to get online help, which in itself was a nightmare to get. Even then, it took a while to get set up. Once set up, it works good.

Bought this for our small business and the change it has made in printing legal documents clearly and quickly has improved productivity in the office. As well as all the different scanning and copying freatures

There is always a learning curve with new electronics. Pretty easy transition from my last printer, which was not HP. I like the scanning speed. It is faster than my previous printer and perfect for my needs.

We have always been pleased with HP printers. This one is no exception. We finally got on the ink replenishment program. It's going to save our household money. You should check it out!

This is an awesome printer for the home. It is a little on the big side, but being able to print from a bluetooth device is awesome. Hopefully the ink cartridge last as long as advertised.

I do like it. The only thing that does get to me is that I need to turn it off and on to reset it after I haven't used it in a while on that day. But I think it might be my Internet or I prefer to have it plugged into my laptop. To avoid any issues.

This product so far meets expectation. There was a great discount at time of purchase and both printer and scanner capabilities work great. Only had for a month so still early but so far so good

First let me say the con is the tray could be very easily broken I did have some issues with the scanner making some noise after a couple months . Hid upgrade to the next model and fixed all these issues fast great options and photo quality
