Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the OfficeJet Pro 8710's print quality and ease of use, frequently praising its performance and user-friendliness. Many also appreciate the wireless functionality and the reasonable price point for the features offered. While some find the printer's size to be a minor drawback, the positive feedback on its reliability and overall functionality outweighs this concern.

I purchased this printer in hope to be easy to operate but ended up to be more complicated than my prior printer.

I first purchased this printer based on reviews and the ink subscription, however, in my home network (and I use really current gear), the printer kept losing the wireless connection, and would not show up for Windows or IOS devices... I returned the printer for an Epson WorkForce printer, and it has been flawless...

My older HP Office Jet Pro 8600 Plus was far superior. I wish you still made it. Also, I need more ink mailed to me!!

for the last 20 years I have been purchasing only HP computers and printers this newest printer is so unfriendly I wish I'd never bought it I traded for a upgraded model I'm not able to scan it I'm going to have to call the geek squad to activate the scanner. I also bought a different model HP printer and even with the disc for both printers neither one of us can use the scanning option

Not the greatest - we consistently have to re-enter our wireless information in order to us it.

8710 replaced the 8610 printer. It is very upsetting that ink cartridges are not the same for this "replacement".

I would wait for a newer, better model to come out. Really liked the 8600 series I had before. But I could not find one so had to buy this.

This printer is great, except is does not work seamlessly with a mac. It will not print from Adobe. Sometimes the printer even prints double so you have to print again. Spoke to the HP rep at the store and was told I needed to figure this out, then they would have a fix. Needless to say this printer is being returned and going with an Epson. HP needs better customer service.

When it works it is great. If you can have it hardwired to the computer you want to use you should not have issues. However, if you want to use the wifi printing be prepared to reinstall it every single day. This is a known issue I discovered through internet searches.

    Do Not Buy

I purchased this printer because I had previously had it's predecessor (8610) for 3 years and had been pleased. I have had this printer for about two months and it has been very frustrating. Several times per day I will print a document and one of the pages will print twice offset on the same page. Also, the printer will sporadically, have a failure while printing and it will tell me I need to power down and then reprint. A final problem I keep having is I get a message is that an ink cartridge is missing. I use HP instant ink so every time it double prints on a page or prints part of a page then shuts down it counts against my print total count which is about five lost pages per day, 25 per week, or 100 per month. I had seen mixed reviews about the printer before I bought it but decided to buy it anyways because of my previous experience and the price. I have been really disappointed.
