Not sure if the problem is the HP Smart app or the printer hardware itself...but there’s an issue about 50% of the time which requires me to troubleshoot, restart and/or reinstall something. Consistent across all the devices I’ve tried to use it with...it’s been a MISERABLE 1,544 pages.

I did read of other people complaining of the poor print quality, of course I ignored them. Mistake, big mistake, needless to say I returned it and purchase an HP color laser now I'm a happy camper. However, I did end up paying 3x more money, but why keep something your not happy with. Hope this helps.

I tried connecting it with a USB cable and still doesn't work. I contacted hp support and they want me to pay $200 to get it fixed, the printer was less than $100 so I don't think it will be worth spending double for it to work.

Then it wouldn't fax anymore. Now I did pay a lot of money to get new ink for this machine, so I took it back & exchanged it for another, hoping these problems were just an isolated situation. It ate paper. It said paper jam, where none existed. Even best buy couldn't find out what was wrong with it. Very different to deal with. Could not handle it. Returned it for an Epson.
