Haven’t opened yet sorry so I can’t give a real review

Next day after installation blue cartridge start liking. Message on the printer saying to remove and reinstall the cartridge wont disappear even after the cartridge cleaning. HP was truing to charge me $25.00 for the phone support call. Going back to Best Buy for exchange.

I had issues with this printer from day one. It leaves a streak through the printed sheet. I’ve replaced several parts while it was under warranty and it still has issues. I just wish they’d take it back. I’ve since purchased a new printer.

This printer has great features & good specs... but it didn't even print once. I wasted hours trying to get the 8710 to work. I replaced it with an Epson (I had only had HP printers prior to this). I had the Epson wf-3620 printing and doing 2-sided scans in 10 minutes.

It hasn't printed one piece of paper since I had it installed (by Geek Squad). I haven't touched it as far as programming, only tried to use it, keeps showing "error" onscreen and a question mark on the printer. Very disappointing.

Brand new and ink cartridges leaked into the case, was not able to continue with set up. I needed a printer for work and HP wouldn't expedite the replacements. Got a different brand, very pleased. I had been an HP customer for years. No more

My wife and I both have HP laptops. We figured an HP printer would be easily paired. Have been on the phone with HP 3 times in a month with connectivity issues. The search begins for another printer, it will not be an HP.

The ink for this printer is very expensive if I had to make this purchase on this printer again I probably would find another printer that pink wasn’t so expensive I don’t think I’d recommend this product .

Very poorly manufactured by HP. Used for three months and yellow ink ejected malfunctioned hitting me in the face. 8710 very poorly made and also very noisy. It smeared ink on my photo copies..

Seemed like a great product and value, but this didn't last. I replaced it with an HP laser printer. Only prints in black, but costs much less.

Very noisy and after loading and reloading cartridges still kept getting error. Bought an Epson no issues with the same method of loading the cartridges or error messages.

This printer performs all of its functions brilliantly. The setup was very easy and did not take much time at all. I own a mix of Apple products (MacBook Pro, iPad, IPhone) and PC and they are perfectly compatible without any problems. I wanted a printer that could handle a high volume of print jobs, while providing high quality prints, without breaking the bank on print cartridges. This printer succeeded. The only downside is the length of time I have owned it - I cannot attest to the reliability yet but so far so good.

The scan function of this unit did not work. I took it back and tried another unit (same model). It did the same thing-it would not scan either. What ever happened to Quality Control?

Purchased this printer as a replacement of another HP. Very poor choice. Printer is NOISY, SLOW and gives many error messages. I do not recommend this printer to anyone.

used this to replace an epson with a print head issue. by the time i spend the money on the parts this was cheaper. i have always had good luck with the HP printers so i do not expect too much trouble out of this one. looked into availability of parts and already found what i need IF i need it. i do plan to modify the machine for a Continuous Ink System. with permanent cartridges and massive 400ml total tanks. setup was a snap and without too much boo and hiss. only hiccup was the download of the drivers and software, seems HP servers are over worked with requests and took a while. the primary use is for daily printing e-mails and so on. i do plan to get a color laser as well just not sure if it will be an HP..

This printer has been giving me grief since I got it. I cannot use the scanner and that totally sucks. I would definitely not buy another one.

Have spent over a week trying to get the printer to connect to a pc and print. Instructions are horrible and there is no where to get help. Ready to take it back.

i had high hopes but hp ruined it. their typical big corporation pre recorded automated menu phone just added to the frustration

The item is overly "bulky" and heavy for easy movement. The screen with directions is more complicated than needed. It just is not friendly on a general basis.

We were not happy with this printer at all and it didn't even have all the parts in the box necessary to use. Needless to say, it was quickly returned.
