Easy to install. Prints clear and fast. Holds more paper than Most printers.

When connected via wi fi, ethernet it does it's job updating drivers, software and i would guess firmware but I'm not sure. My big issue is it does not always wake up when you need it,requiring a power cycle to get it going again. Not a big deal for the computer it sits next to but a chore when you are else where in the house and you THINK you printed a document. A bit of a disappointment and yes this is the second one that does this (had a 46XX). Gotta work with it. I dont have the time to shop for another printer... so, good printer as long as you can live with this quirk...

I hope this printer lasts longer than the last HP 8720 printer but it printed faster. The 8720 printer only lasted a handful on months so I hope this printer lasts longer so I question HP printers dependability?? The HP instant ink I highly recommend as it saves you 50% on ink and it ships ink to you before you run out automatically! I do print about 300 prints a month so I use the printer a lot for church!

A very easy printer to install a an get up and running. Performs like the more expensive models on the market.

I replaced a ten year old HP printer and was going to purchase one of the same size, however I was able to find this HP 8710 for just a few dollars more. It has double side printing option and has cut down my newsletter printing in half with only a few paper jams. Only con is the size vs. my old printer. I recommend this printer

I have had one of these for my job for about a year, so I bought this one for home since I have had no issues with it. Painless set up wired or wireless, prints well, scans well. Don't use the fax.

This is a replacement printer to the OfficeJet Pro 6830, the ultimate worse, that was given to me by the VA. I give it 4 stars because it is barely 2 weeks old and so far nothing has happened, so far.
