Had some issues setting up the printer. Either MS or HP now requires several extra steps to print.

I bought this to replace an OfficeJet Pro 8600 series printer. As with each HP printer I’ve owned, the output quality is excellent. However, it was much more confusing to set up than my last printer. When it came to setting up the scanning to PC and fax functions, I actually had to call support. Although they were easily able to complete the set up for me, had the instructions been better written the phone call would not have been necessary. Finally, I would have preferred if HP had kept the all-black color for this printer. The light gray is going to get grungy looking too easily.

This printer has been everything I had hoped it would be. Great quality copies. Scanning has also been very easy. I thought that I would have to spend so much more for the quality, but I the price was good.

Nice all-in-one machine but keypad is way too small - it’s hard to type in numbers for dialing a phone number to fax a piece of paper.

Very easy to setup, run very fast, just don't like that were the paper comes out there is a hang over and can cause the paper to fall out. There is a bar that can slide out and stop this but something you are not there when you remote print to pull this bar out.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e Wireless All-in-One offered features that appealed to my Business and Personal needs that most other printers didn't have... Example: like six months of instant ink service & White Paper..

This is a decent printer. The initial start up took longer than expected because I had to powercycle the printer twice during start up due to it freezing. We have been using this device for a few weeks now and did have to powercycle it one more time because it froze up again. I do not know what caused it but it has only happened once since start up. Fingers crossed that it was an anomaly and will not happen again. I'm not a fan of the set up process needing an app but that appears to be the way all manufacturers are going.

    HP disappoints

This is a very disappointing printer. No matter how I installed the unusual cartridges (you push in to install, but also push in harder to remove it). I kept getting error messages that the cartridges are missing or damaged. Neither one was the case. Sometimes, when closing the cover, a cartridge jumped from its position and did not allow the carriage to move. Somehow I got the printer to print and scan several pages. Very nice. Just to test it, I removed and replaced the cartridges and the same error messages appeared. By the way, several times it showed that it was not connected to the network, Although the settings showed that it was connected, but was off line. As a final blow, the screen was blank and the power button did not work. I had to unplug it in order to reset it. Too bad, it was highly recommended by the Wirecutter and others, but Consumer Reports completely panned it. I wasted too much time on this printer and am returning it.

    Very Good Printer for Home

I bought this printer for home use. I was somewhat hesitant to make this purchase after reading some reviews and so far I have had no problems. Set up was easy not at all hard like some reviews indicated. Printer recognized my Wi-Fi immediately with no difficulties. I am able to print directly from my IPhone with no problems. Actual printing or copying is a little slow, not as fast as office printers but it works for home use. When printing, paper does not fly out of printer and fall to floor like some reviews indicate when using the paper stop. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I thought my ink jet days were behind me after purchasing a Brother B&W laser printer for home. But I found myself needing a color printer for a few jobs and others in my house wanted a flatbed scanner vs using a phone to scan a document. I picked up this HP All in one at Best Buy and I’ve been happy with it so far. Set up was straight-forward and what you would expect to add it to a wireless network. Printing via wi-if works good and haven’t had any problems. It’s as quiet as you might expect a printer to be and prints pretty quickly (not as fast as a laser, but it never will though right?). All-in-all, I’m happy with this purchase.

My PC of choice is a Mac Mini. Unfortunately the OfficeJet Pro 9015e scanner does not support Airdrop. Therefore setup required that I log onto my wifi. OK, not too bad since I only had to do this once. Making copies with the printer/scanner works great. I can control copies from the touch pad on the printer. In particular I like that it will do double sided copies, nice feature. Scanning is where I get frustrated. I would REALLY LIKE to use the touch pad on the printer for scanning but a shared folder is not supported for MacOS for scanning. That means that I have to use the HP.123.com app (Smart App). To use scanning I have to launch the HP Smart App and log in. An irritation but doable. Second issue is that I would like to set a dedicated destination folder for all scanning on my desktop. The Smart App only lets me use a "Documents" folder which is a preexisting folder on the Mac. I sent several days on and off, looking for a solution but it always came back to what I wanted was not available with MacOS. Give me the ability to use the touch pad on the printer for scanning and I would be a happy camper. A 200 DPI option for scanning would also be nice.

My new HP printer is quick and efficient. I had some difficulty setting it up because the drawers are not as easy to open and adjust as my last one. The drawers are not quite as sturdy as the 8600. This is still my favorite brand for computing and printing.

I like the speed it prints and that it doesn’t blow through ink. It also connects really well to the computers on our family network and seems work from anywhere someone presses print in the house. I recommend it.
