Great app, Wi-Fi lacking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prints as expected. Poor Wi-Fi reliability. Frequently disconnects and take a bit to reconnect at times. The app integration is excellent though

old versus new

Great printer, but a little slow.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are wanting to print things quick, don't get this printer. But, if you want a good printer and don't care if it's slow, then this one is perfect.

I Keep Returning To HP Printers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Canon, Epson, Brother, Xerox, HP -- I've tried a lot of printers, but keep returning to HP. One reason is the consistent quality of the ink. This particular printer, which I have been using for a month, is smaller and lighter than previous OfficeJet Pro printers that I have used, but so far it appears to be just as good. I wish the touchscreen was larger, and HP still needs to improve their software for things like scanning projects, but it does all the basics very well.

Run, Away from this printer. As fast as you can.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this printer for about 18 months and coming back to write a review to hopefully help someone avoid what could have been the biggest mistake I have ever made (in terms of technology purchases in recent memory). My background: 33-year-old male, who was raised by computers. I'm a technology/software manager, for a Fortune 100. Complaint #1: Horrible setup experience. This should have been my first clue. Day One, I'm on hold with HP customer service trying to get the drivers and software to work. Their 1st solution... just don't use all the features.... After over an hour, we finally got the "Scan to my email" to function. Complaint #2 This is a SUBSCRIPTION MACHINE. Price ink cartridges before you buy. You might as well buy a new printer. But you're in luck, HP offers a monthly Ink Subscription..... and you PAY BY THE PAGE!!!! Complaint #3 AKA, The cherry on top which has prompted me to write this review. I recently changed my Wifi network and now I AM LOCKED OUT OF MY OWN PRINTER. This thing has a username and password ON THE MACHINE that I legit never set up. Oh, and there's a lovely 2"x2" screen you get to type on and try and guess what it thinks the user name is. No Username/Password recovery because it's offline nor do I even think they thought that far to have as an option. I'm struggling with this sunk cost fallacy but I will give this print one last chance to function before I take it behind the barn and put an end to its miserable life. Currently working on trying to do a factory reset to resolve this issue but I am contemplating my life choices at the moment.

Good printer, but painful to install.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took over two hours of technical support to finally get the printer working. Now that it’s hooked up and working it’s fine, but getting there was painful. I don’t understand how a consumer could possibly be expected to do everything that the technical support person did to get the printer working. They need to make it easier to get the printer working. They also need to make it much easier to be able to contact a technical support person.

Not much to say about a printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure how this buying ink thing is going to go….too early to tell. Machine makes decent copies, like the front to back option for printing.

HP is Great But Lower Quality than Earlier Model
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good printer compared to other brands, but not as solid as the HP it replaced. The touch screen is not as user-friendly either.

Good printer but a little pricey.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to replace a similar model that died for an unknown reason. If you're not tech savvy you will need patience to do initial setup(everything is online now - no manuals). If you need help don't use Virtual assistant - go right to the chat. They were very helpful. That being said the printer & WiFi capability (which I never had before) work well. Haven't tried all the features yet but printing & copying are no problem.
