    this is a nice personal all in one. only ask is I wish you could fax over internet instead of needing a phone line, but hey who faxes.

    Did an update and would not accept non-hp ink cartridges. 100% Monopolistic, but whatever, I needed a printer so I bought real HP cartridges and it will not accept those either now. Never buying HP again!!! From what I read Epson is just as bad with this, so I may try Brother again next. Best high speed scanning and printing I've had has been with Brother.

    This printer was extremely easy to set up and use. The HP software used to control the printer from the computer is simple and easy to use, but perhaps too simple if you want a lot of configurability. The scanner quality is just OK in my opinion...using a smartphone to scan just one or a few pages can yield much higher quality images. Overall, I think this printer is an excellent choice for home use.
