Does a decent job but took hours to install

It doesn't help that troubleshooting instructions on that screen don't match up with the HP sites they point to. On the plus side, phone support was free and readily available - and ultimately (it appears) successful.

Good but not great

The 8600 lasted over 10 years. I highly doubt this printer will come close. It also goes through ink a lot faster. Anything to improve HP's bottom line. I would only recommend this because alternatives are worse or much more expensive.

Perfect printer for my needs

I researched having it repaired but it wasn’t cost effective with the price of new printers these days. Then I started my shopping and searching and I’m happy to say the office jet Pro 9015 fills the bill. Best Buy not only had the best price but also accepted my old printer and gave me a monetary rebate toward the purchase of my new printer. Very satisfied customer.
