New HP Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like HP printers, especiallythis one. It was easy to set up (If I can set this up, anyone can do it!). It prints regular paper and labels well; I haven't tried photo paper yet.

On the fence about this highly rated printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because Wirecutter reccommended it as the best, even though I could have chosen many less expensive options. The set up took a while with repeated errors about the print head. Cartridges would click in place but aren't seated securely, and 2 are on the verge of popping out. They just push in with some spring tension, and don't seat into a bucket like my Epson did. Seems like a bad printhead right out of the gate. Finally got the ink in, and it prints. Noisier than my Epson I replaced. The HP Smart app takes a while to load even though I'm on a new Macbook Pro. Scans just fine with more options than my old printer.

Double side scanning in one pass
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from another HP. The idea of being able to scan double sided documents in one pass reall appealed to me. So far printer has worked great. Easy to set up with home network. HP ink program a bonus.

Good value. Does what it says it does.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prints fast, high quality, good value. It's a little annoying that it has to be connected to a network connection (WiFi preferred) at all times in order to function, and I'm glad that I didn't sign up for instant ink. My printing tends to come in spurts, and I don't need a continuous supply of ink. Setup needs to be done with care, but everything was connected properly, and it works on all 3 of my home computers, all wirelessly. (I don't even use the USB connection, which literally has a big red X over the port.)

So far so good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Have not had it very long, but the set up to the home wi-fi went smoothly, and so far it has worked well when print jobs are sent to it from three different devices. The ink cartridges seem expensive, but, that's just the way these things are these days apparently. I generally like HP and it just seems the issues arise with 1) lack of use, and 2) age. The last HP we had lasted seven years before it died. Recommend printing with color at least every so often - I'm not sure what the best timeframe is - to avoid things getting dried up and then clogging.

HP9015e
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up. Very quiet and easy to use. Prints quicker than my previous printer. Do however wish that the paper output guide was longer so when the paper comes out the pages lay flat in the paper output tray.

Home Office.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't the first printer we bought from HP. The others we had were great and this one seems to be better than the other's. Not as quiet as the other but tolerable and much quicker than the other's. Glad we stuck with HP

Geek Squad dependent loyal Best-Buy fan
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great deal, solid machine and extraordinary set up phone support for a total non-techy senior. However, I was coming from a Pixma printer background wherein the printer had two drawers -- without my having to go to a single drawer (HP 9015e) to change the paper everytime I wanted to switch. That involved, in our home, going up a flight of stairs rather than being able to switch back and forth. I returned it within the 14 days (the holiday 60 days doesn't include printers being used. I replaced it with the 9025e....a very impressive beast...however photo colors were not good...so whe n stock available I guess I will return to Pixma world...or try Epson which PC magazine recommends as having even slightly better photo's. (and I learned that one should shop for Photo Printer -all in one if quality photo's are a priority.

HAPPY WITH THIS PRINTER
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and has worked flawlessly. The ink cartridges that come with the printer have lasted longer than expected. Note: The printer is a bit in the noisy side when a document first prepares to print but the actual printing is not excessively noisy.

Great printer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer works great. The setup was a breeze. I have printed photos on this printer and they turned out great. Seems to print quickly and efficiently. It's a bit noisy but that's my only complaint and I'm not printing nonstop all day long.

Printer issue resolved. Happy.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Original printer I bought started giving me errors (paper jam, ink cartridge jam, tray issues) I found no paper jam, ink cartridges were remove and replaced several times. I took the printer back and Best Buy staff listened to problems I had with this printer and without any questions, I was able to exchange it for same model. New printer is working properly. I had had this printer for about three weeks and so far no issues. Hope this printer will last me for long time. Best Buy staff were great.

New HP 9015e Printer.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this printer from HP as my former HP 6978 printhead past on. I am very happy with the performance of this printer. Dual sided printing, good internet connection and outstanding print quality. Setup was reasonably easy.

Better, but not great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this printer to replace one that got damaged during our move. I would give this 3.5 stars, but that was not an option. We experienced the same issue that several people have reported about the printer re-initializing throughout the day. After a few days of this, it became very annoying, and we were going to return it. My husband had to unplug it to rearrange some cords, but after he plugged it back in that issue seemed to reset itself, and the problem has not returned. The reason for the lower rating for us, and this may not be an issue for others that may not do a lot of printing: 1. The paper tray does not hold as much paper as the previous model we had. With the amount of printing we do, it is a problem. 2. The area where the paper comes out is not very long even with the extension out, and not very deep. This means you need to remove your copies more often which can be a problem if you are not in the same room, or you will have papers on the floor or jamming up new copies coming out. 3. The copies don't seem as sharp as our previous model. For the cost of the cartridges, the copies should be sharper. Positives: 1. It prints faster (but this can add to the issues above). 2. Duplexing seems smoother and not as jarring on the machine. Our previous model almost sounded like it struggled to get the back page copied. 3. Ink drying time seems shorter. 4. Cost wasn't too bad. I know they keep the cost of cartridges higher to force people into doing the auto-ship program, but I have read too many stories of people trying to buy cartridges in-between shipments if they run out early, or just wanting to buy them rather than through HP, and I don't want that hassle. Overall, it is a decent machine, but I would prefer a model that was able to hold more paper, and made a bit sharper copies.

Excellent printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does everything well. The print speeds are fast - a big upgrade from the Canon MX870 that I purchased in June 2018. There are 2 tiny nitpick things that are different than how my older Canon scanning worked: 1)The old Canan picked up the color of the paper - e.g., if the was blue or yellow, then the paper scanned as blue or yellow. The HP changes all paper colors to white. With the Canon scan software, if I scanned in 20 pages thru the feeder, I could select pages to group and save as one file, and I could select other pages to save as a 2nd file, and so on; with the new HP, if I scan in 20 pages, I must save those 20 pages as one file. If I want to save the pages in different files, I now just scan in those pages (e.g., 4 pages) and save them as one file. Then scan in the next N pages as a 2nd file, and so on. But I still stand by my "5" rating for this HP 9015e. On the good side, I'm able to print directly from my phone using the HP Print Service Plugin. It's a great printer and I recommend buying it.
