It took us over a month to get it set up. We had to call HP 2x and ended up having our nephew help us get to work!!!

It wasn't as easy for me to set up as other reviews state but once it was up and ready it is easy to use. I chose this printer because of the usb connector so I can scan directly to a usb device. So far no problems with this printer.

Doesn’t print near as fast as advertised. Much slower especially if you print on both sides of the paper.

One needs to be very careful when adding paper or copying something. The paper tray is not as firm or steady as in my previous HP printer.

This is a nice little printer overall, but i have two issues with it as well as most other printers. 1. Higher end printers like this should hold a full ream of paper. 2. The ink is very expansive compared to other printers by this manufacturer. I chose this printer as it was rated quite high on several websites, but I am not sure how long it will last. All in all, I have had bad luck with HP printers. I hope this is not the issue with this particular printer. if this is true, then why did I choose it? Because other brands in my price range rated even worse.

We purchased the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 to replace a HP product purchased over 15 years ago--which finally ran out of gas! This new printer does all that we need it to do, and does it so quickly and easily. Thanks for the great product.

The scanner is great and super fast compared to previous models of HP printers I’ve had. Print quality in on par with other printers. The mobile app is convenient but could use an update to take advantage of the 2Side scan feature the printer offers.

I downsized to an apartment and wanted a much smaller printer that I could put on my desk. This one has all of the features of the larger HP that I had but in a more compact size. I have been very pleased with all of the features and how it works.

Far too much of a requirement on the desktop software. I've had to restart the printer several times, during the past month, to have any computer connect to it. Other than that, it works as expected.

I purchased this printer to replace the OfficeJet 8610 that crapped out when the printer head decided it was irreparable. After stiff research between this and the Epson rival, this was the machine of choice. The Good: The printer does really well with the speed and the form factor. If feels like HP made a concerted effort to make the printer as ergonomic as it possible could. The Questionable: The printer tray juts out what seems to be halfway from the fascia of the printer. The capacity of the tray is short and the printed paper rest is not extendable enough to fit a single sheet of paper. The Bad: HP seems to be pushing everything through the app. Onboard features seem to be very useless and just directs the user to use the 123.hp.com website or the HP Smart app. My biggest disappointment is that you cannot scan directly from the auto document feeder to a computer without initiating the scan from the computer. THAT IS TERRIBLE. I want to give as objective a review as I can and I am usually easy going but I cannot say that this printer is remarkably better than the previous serious. This may be my last run with an HP printer after this one goes because of a suspicious print head error after another 3 years. However, if you are in a crunch and not a real heavy user, this printer will get the job done.

I have had trouble with this printer from day 1. It will not print an entire page without multiple tries. HP Support only asks me to do the same steps, and this is running up my print count on my InstantInk subscription. I've tried setting the print to only start once fully spooled, cleaned ink heads, alignment tests, power cycles, printing in black/white, color, using HP Smart Print option. Nothing works. HP won't send someone to fix this even though I have 18 months left of my warranty. I regret this purchase.

There is one problem with my new printer that the technician who installed it was unable to solve, and I'm very annoyed about it. When I try to print and download a message from my e-mail, it will print only the first page of the document, and I am unable to print the rest of page two and or three. I've tried changing the print order to print all pages, but the printer refuses to respond.. Do you have any suggestions for me, short of having a technician come and look at the printer?I've had it only a month, and I feel that I should have had better service from you.

The worst printer I've ever prchased!

I bought this printer because my old one stopped working. Even though it was only 5 yrs old, HP said it was "obsolete", they no longer have parts available, and the only option was to purchase a new one. What is surprising is that BestBuy still has my original "obsolete, no parts available printer, (an HP Officejet Pro 6978), listed for sale on their website. Why would they continue to sell something that is considered obsolete, it's no longer sold by the manufacturer on their site, and it can't be repaired if it malfunctions? The replacement Officejet Pro 9015e is the worst printer I've ever owned. Very difficult to set up. There is no installation disc. One must download an app to do the install. The install doesn't go smoothly, and HP customer support is no help. Most amazing is that there's NO USER MANUAL to provide operating instructions. I searched HP website online, and it is not there either. I merely wanted to obtain a users manual and to set up the machine to receive faxes over a regular phone line. I called HP customer support and all they did was try to keep me engaged in small talk about how my day is going, what's the weather like, etc,. instead of addressing my issues. HP customer service was unable to assist me with either of my problems. I finally told the person I was thoroughly disgusted with the piece of junk I had purchased and would be returning it to the store as soon as they open.

Overall excellent. But I hate the paper tray. Be careful how you open and close, the tray prongs in the back of the tray cause issues.

It's great when it prints, but I got many docs sitting in a print que and I'm not sure why. One it just stopped -- no time yet to call Geek Squad, and I have already tried everything HP suggests.

Does all of my needs and more! I really wanted a printer that could scan multiple sheets as once (always had printers that I had to do one at time) and this printer has what I wanted. Great for my now in-home office!

    Last HP Purchase for Sure

This is the 3rd in the HP-OfficeJet Pro series we have purchased and they seem to be getting worse. This one is so flimsy I doubt it will last long. Our first, the well-built Premium 8600, was sturdy but had a bad printhead that failed prematurely. A replacement printhead sent by HP didn't do any better. The 8620 that we moved on to wasn't as sturdy as the 8600, but was built much, much better than the current 9015e. However, the 8620 also had premature printhead failure. Perhaps that should have been our cue, but we thought we would give HP one last try. Well, this one is a nightmare. It's made of this cheap plastic material that looks like it will fall apart any day. The touchpad for accessing the printer features is so small (a third the size of the previous model's) it is barely usable. Printing and scanning are both so slow and the document feeder is a joke. And don't get me started on the HP Plus membership that supposedly extends the 1-year warranty to 2 years. That is simply a lie. After signing up and doing exactly what is required, it still shows I have just 1-year of warranty. HP said to give it 4 weeks when I called customer service , which I thought was a ploy to get me to hold on to the printer past the return date. Yes, I was right. Instead of extending the warranty to 2 years, they sent me ink I hadn't requested and didn't need, and closed the case I had opened to get the warranty extended. For sure, this will be our last HP purchase.

This printer has been hit or miss. It gets jammed often and has regular issues. You may think you are getting value, but I regret not spending more to try a higher end model. I did like how HP has a program you can join so you have ink automatically mailed to you when you are low. It prints well, but I also noticed that when it shows as out or low on ink that isn't the case. It has printed pages I sent faded when it shows as low on ink, but then perfectly for automated report pages it prints on its own.
