Great printer for the price! It’s very easy to scan single pages to your phone, tablet or computer, but it’s more difficult to scan multiple pages. There’s no easy way to scan multiple pages with two sides using the document feeder from the app or software; you have to go to the HP website and select the feature. Make copying large documents clunky and difficult. You can add it one page at a time via the app, but that can take forever if you have a lot of pages. So far my only complaint is the scanning issue, but I’ve only had the printer for about a month.

I am happy with the purchase so far. My only concern was I didn't think it wouldn't take card stock. It would jam each time. Love the fact it is wireless & able to hold more paper

I have owned only HP printers and had to replace an older model. Like the smaller size. I have not used all the options yet, but happy with it so far.

Although I think HP is getting to be lower quality than in the past, this one was a good price for an all-in-one, and works good.

Prints fine. HP software continues to be a struggle. Had an HP printer before this and wish I changed this time. It is connected to wifi yet continues to throw random messages saying it can't do x/y/z because it isn't connected to the internet. Yet software says it is connected. Doesn't recognize paper in tray. Every time you change between photos and regular paper you have to manually modify. Old HP printer had a separate tray and recognized. I'm a technologist and know how to troubleshoot extremely well. I can work around the problems but also know good UX and HP is not it. Wish I tried another brand and will in the future. Printing is an old business and innovation is not here with HP.

      Hi, Dave.

Thanks for the review and the description of your experience thus far. While I’m glad that your printer prints fine, I’m sorry to learn that the printer and software provide contradictory messages about whether the device is connected wirelessly, and that the printer doesn’t recognize paper in the tray. I would love to help you remedy this situation, so I’ll point you toward some resources aimed at making that happen.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

You might also find useful information in this troubleshooting guide for printers that display an out-of-paper error and do not pick up paper:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00786157

If any problem persists, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

What a piece of crap. The ink cartridges use springs when you place the ink cartridges in the printer. The printer makes a racket after loading from restart. It does not go into the sleep mode. I only hope the display doesn’t burn out. I have returned 2 of these printers and may have to return the piece of garbage 3rd one that I have now

      Hi, Delly.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has had problems, including noise, cartridge-installation and sleep-mode difficulties, and that you’ve returned two others that also didn’t perform well. I can certainly understand your trepidation considering what you’ve endured, so I’ll provide a resource I hope will help you remedy the situation.

I can’t tell from your review what’s causing the startup noise or why the device won’t go into sleep mode, but I believe these each deserve further investigation. I’ll point out that HP+ printers come with exclusive concierge support. I've used HP for 20 years now. I was that PC Mag listed this as one of the top printers for, I think, 2020. Well, maybe they didn't know it jams. It jams early in the morning. It jams at mid day. It jams in the afternoon. And wouldn't you know it, it jams all night long. And it noisy as well. Paper? forget about it. Cheap 20lb paper jams. Expensive 24lb paper jams. Did I say how noisy it was. I really want to type what is on my mind right now, but I won't. I'll only say, it's been close to 45 days, maybe a day or two over, but I'm soooooo peeved, I'm packing it up and taking it back as soon as I hit ENTER for this review. I can not understand how folks say this is a good printer. Just don't understand!!! :(

      Hi there.

I'm sorry you've encountered consistent paper jams with the printer. I can see how that would become frustrating very quickly. Providing a reliable experience is something we pride ourselves on, so let's see whether I can help remedy this with some suggestions.

Regarding paper jams, sometimes (as you’ve discovered) those can be real, but the printer can also send a paper-jam error message when there is no jammed paper. If you’ve not done these already, I recommend referencing the steps in this document to troubleshoot real as well as false paper jams:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06201289

You might also find it helpful to check out this link regarding how to best store and handle paper to avoid those jams: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04518237

If what I've mentioned doesn't seem to help, or for any other concerns, please reach out to us directly for support. You can get in touch with us via your preferred method at this link: hp.com/contactHP
