We needed a new all-in-one printer. This one stood out as being a good price, good product, and it prints well too.

Scanning is a must now that I am working from home. The wireless WiFi allows the printer to be in a space that other wise would not fit.

    Toy compared to predecessor

The printer seems like a "toy" compared to its predecessor. It is very lightweight, the function window is difficult to read, and the paper tray does not adjust to the paper size or envelope in the feeder. I have to switch between the internet and the printer to use it. What a cheap version of a printer. Very disappointed.

      Hi, John.

I’m sorry you’re dissatisfied with your printer. I can certainly understand why form and functionality not measuring up to your previous printer would be a disappointment. I want to help you remedy whatever issues you face, so I’ll suggest some resources aimed at making that happen.

First, the paper tray should have adjustable guides to match the various media you can use. I recommend that you refer to the main user guide for this printer on our support site. Look for “Load Paper” in the table of contents; click on that entry and you’ll be taken to a diagram. Find that user guide here:

If your printer looks different – or for help with the internet/printer issue you describe – I suggest that you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the proper course of action. Packaged with a lot of Styrofoam

So far printer works okay. I don't like that it turns on when I turn the surge protector on even though I had turned off the power button on the printer before turning the surge protector off. My low rating is because there is a huge amount of Styrofoam in the packaging material. Why not use cardboard?

I bought this printer to replace my old out dated HP printer. It out performs my old All in One by far. Very easy to use and print remotely is a plus.

I wanted to really love this printer but it gave nothing but problems from the sec it came out of the box. It's possible we just got a really defective unit, maybe. It never stayed connected to our network and had continuous paper jams. Needless to say it was to frustrating and I took it back for a different printer.

Bought yesterday and taking it back tomorrow. All I wanted was a simple printer that I could use a USB Cable from computer to printer. After spending two hours trying to get it to work, I called HP and it took them another 45 minutes to get it working with my Mac. Later on, I try to hook it to my PC. No go. It installed correctly and the scanner worked but would not print, telling me I had to have an account and internet connection. Then I read the quick guide that came with it and it specifically stated that it must be installed through the internet and your account BEFORE being able to use USB. If you want a simple installation, stay away from this one.

Just got this and it prints pretty good but I'm extremely concerned about the longevity of it. The printer is built with an almost "single use" feel - I've had fast food packaging that had more integrity than the components of this printer. I do hope it doesn't fall apart soon. Extremely cheaply built. Updates to come...
