    Printer is solidly built and setup was straightforward. Printing is excellent; about as good as a laser printer. Printing is fast. I really like that the paper tray holds A large amount of paper. I also took advantage of the HP instant ink program. It’s convenient and I think it may save money compared to buying cartridges one at a time.

    I was concerned with a lot of 1 star ratings. I have to admit that during initial startup, I had a cartridge carrier error. Removed and reinstalled carrier, and all worked fine. Software installation was flawless in several PCs, tablets, and phones. Ink is expensive, but so far it is lasting a long time.

    Unknown to me and probably everyone else who buys this printer, you will not be able to use any third party ink cartridges in it. Software updates that are done automatically will disable the printer if the cartridges are not genuine HP brand cartridges. I just found that out the hard way. There is currently a consumer class action lawsuit about this against HP. BE WARNED!! You'll be spending 3 times as much on ink!

    This printer works great and does everything I need it to do and then even some things I don’t need it to do. You can even fax with it if you have it hooked up to a phone line. You can also print from your phone or tablet. You can even print from your phone or tablet while your away from home. I would highly recommend this printer.
