setup was a bit difficult, honestly took me two days to figure it out but after successfully setting it up, it works great. I love the fact it has instant ink, I don't have to worry about going out and buying ink.

The ink cartridges last much longer than the previous HP All-In-One that I had. It is about the same as my other printer, but sits a little bit higher. The touch screen makes it very easy to use. I work at home about 3 to 4 days a week and it fits my job which is a paralegal.

Not Happy with printer. too difficult to operate. Maybe an owners manual would help. Some of us, especially seniors, are computer savvy and can't find info on line.

The printing is fine but I am disappointed in the quality after using the 8600. Not as well built as the 8600 and I really dislike the LCD screen not being movable or not being tilted upward

This printer was not working properly when I first set it up. It would not print in color. Contact HP about the issue and they told me it had a bad print head. So I returned this one and order another one the same printer. This one is working great.

When I removed the printer from the box and plastic bag, I saw that one of the 2 hinges holding the "lid" onto the base was broken. I returned it for an exchange. When I started connecting the 2nd one to a phone line for the fax, I saw that the ID plate and paperwork showed it as being a 9010 . That pamphlet that is supposed to be an owner's manual is basically the size of one piece of copy paper folded in half and was pretty worthless. The box and printer 'body' says 9015. I called Best Buy and learned that there is some difference between the 2, but my son thinks that the number on the body (case) should be correct. Who knows!! I have to rate it, but haven't used it since getting everything connected.

I would not recommend if you’re not good with technology. I had Geek Squad come set up my printer with my email for scanning purposes. When my WiFi password changed the computer lost the data. I am unable to use all the services the printer provides due to not being able to connect my email to the printer.

Didn't last a year and we really don't use it as much, no more than 300 a month, so I don't get why it keeps giving an error message but won't report the error or print at all.

      Hi, Liz.

I’m sorry that your printer has stopped working. I can wholly understand why getting an error message that you can’t clear after less than a year of ownership would be quite an unwelcome surprise. I want to help you out of this dilemma. I hope the resources listed below guide you to that end.

I can’t tell from you review what’s causing the error message or why the device won’t print. I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

The printer is very good with all of its features. The only problem I have with it is sometimes the software doesn't work correctly and occasionally had to use the diagnostic software to repair, but other than that the printer works fine.
