I am very satisfied with my purchase. I did not give it an outstanding only because I have not done a substantial amount of copying yet to be sure that the printer can handle larger jobs. Nevertheless, to date I am satisfied this far.

It's not as easy to use or as solid as the previous one we had, which was the more expensive model, but for the lower cost it's a very good product. It does 2-sided copies effortlessly and correctly!

I had an 8600 HP printer and it served me well. I had bought another brand in anticipation of it failing. The new printer (other brand) started having issues soon after I bought it. This new printer works well as did the old one. I’m satisfied with the quality of the printing.

I love this printer, I use it at home for work purposes. I do have to say I wish it was better with ink. I’ve had it for a month and I am already running out of black ink. Scanner is perfect for work, send scans right to my email.

Printer has met expectations so far. Set up took a while but was not complicated. Having the HP app on Windows or iOS is helpful for ease of printing or scanning. Some marks on printed pages but these are minor.

Quality is not as good as my old HP8600. The printing and scanning is also a lot louder. All printer are plastic but even the plastic seems cheaper. Seems to scan and print much faster than my old unit.

    Not compatible with Apple computers

HP printers no longer work with Apple computers in the 8000 series on up. In the 5000 series on down, will only work if you don't upgrade your computer to the Catalina ios. So one is held hostage by not upgrading to the newest ios if purchase the older models, or end up with a useless printer keypad and having to do 6-8 steps to scan instead of one step on the keypad. This was all info given to me by a HP tech support rep. Therefore the product was returned within 2 weeks.

Printer works great. Only complaint is that there are no clear instructions on how to setup the scan to computer/scan to file. I've only managed to setup scan to email but it takes forever to receive.

This printer is noisy. It is a replacement for a HP Officejet 8600 and the quality is not as good. If I had to do it again I would probably go with a more expensive model.

I had problems hooking up the Best But replacement ink option. I couldn't do it without taking the HP ink replacement product and paying for both. Sometimes have problems with jamming when making two-sided copies.

    Off to a bad start!

Printer look nice enough and based on all the positive reviews, it seemed like a safe bet. Simple set-up instructions but I never even got to the point where I could load the ink cartridges. I kept getting a message to clear a paper jam or ensure the paper tray was installed properly. It had no paper in it and the flimsy plastic paper tray can only go in one way. The tray itself is difficult to slide in and out because it’s so flimsy and has too many clips and levers to push to be effective or smooth but ultimately it was installed the only way it could be. Very frustrating experience and now I have to go to a store to return it, if I can. I had it shipped to avoid such a scenario. Very disappointed with HP!

    TOO LIGHTWEIGHT AND POOR DESIGN

Lightweight plastic casing and parts result in a sense of cheapness, but also contribute to a very noisy mechanical action. The toner cartridges are mounted on a mobile rod which has no support encasement, thus, making installation of each cartridge EXTREMELY difficult! The software is adequate for options but small on-screen images require close attention to selecting commands. Compared to my 5-year-old HP 8640 model, this one is quite inferior! (I returned the item after one day).

This seems to be a good printer with the features and functionality I need. My only negative is that I don't think it's as nicely styled as my last HP. I don't like the 3 different color tones; I would much prefer all black.

I DID NOT RECEIVE AN INSTRUCTION BOOKLET WITH MY PRINTER AND I AM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING IT TO PRINT PAGES FROM THE TOP OF MACHINE. WHEN I NEED TO COPY MULTI COPIES. ALSO, IT IS NOT DOUBLE SIDING COPIES ON DEMAND

Excellent print quality. It is a good size and print quality is very good. It is a little slow when printing color because it allows time for ink to dry. I have signed up for insta ink program with hp and will see if that saves money on printer ink.

A good basic printer. Everything has ended up working well. The on-screen instructions for set up are poor. It is difficult to understand what they are asking you to do, versus what is an advertisement for ink services.

I haven't had time to tweak photo printing. The images I printed had streaks but it could have been from the source material. The paper tray's capacity is way to small especially compared to the 8600 it is replacing. Also, when it prints, it's very loud. The web interface is fine. I was able to "scan to print" to Gmail, however, I was unable to connect it to Yahoo Email. The document print quality is very good and the scanner seems very accurate. I would prefer the 8600 if it didn't stop working, but the 9015 isn't bad, it just is not great. Definitely, a solid purchase when on sale.

My old Epson gave up the ghost on a Sunday morning and I needed a replacement ASAP. I jumped on line, saw a great price on this excellent printer and it was ready for pick up in an hour at my trusty, local Best Buy. Set up was a breeze and I was back in business.

Looking for a one year printer?

If you only want a product to work for one year, this is your printer!!! Customer support is completely non-existent. They sent me a replacement printer, but since I was using Instant Ink, the cartridges won’t work, and I have not been able to get someone to talk to me. Support is eternal hold telling you to use their convenient chat feature. That goes absolutely nowhere and will mean over an hour of being transferred to the next person who can’t help you. DO NOT BUY.

      Hi, Jason.

I’m sorry you’ve had such a dreadful experience with your printer and our Instant Ink program. I can wholly understand why having one printer fail and then being unable to get through to support to activate your Instant Ink cartridges in the new printer would be exasperating. I want to help you remedy this situation. I hope the resource below will reach that end.

I’m not sure what means you used to contact support, but if you’ve not done so already, I recommend that you call our Instant Ink program directly at +1-855-785-2777 so we can assess and resolve the situation.

I hope this helps and, again, our sincerest apologies.

This printer WILL not scan from the ADF to PC via the touchscreen. I sat on phone with support for two hrs. It is a known issue. The result was them telling me to return it and get the 9025e, which will do what was intended from the touchscreen
