    Nice with one BIG flaw

Nice printer. The designer who made the pull-out paper catcher shorter than 11 inches should have to find a new job, and the executives who approved it and continue with the flaw should be fired.

Looking for a one year printer?

If you only want a product to work for one year, this is your printer!!! Customer support is completely non-existent. They sent me a replacement printer, but since I was using Instant Ink, the cartridges won’t work, and I have not been able to get someone to talk to me. Support is eternal hold telling you to use their convenient chat feature. That goes absolutely nowhere and will mean over an hour of being transferred to the next person who can’t help you. DO NOT BUY.

      Hi, Jason.

I’m sorry you’ve had such a dreadful experience with your printer and our Instant Ink program. I can wholly understand why having one printer fail and then being unable to get through to support to activate your Instant Ink cartridges in the new printer would be exasperating. I want to help you remedy this situation. I hope the resource below will reach that end.

I’m not sure what means you used to contact support, but if you’ve not done so already, I recommend that you call our Instant Ink program directly at +1-855-785-2777 so we can assess and resolve the situation.

I hope this helps and, again, our sincerest apologies.

The HP I had was crap. This I have at work and it never fails me. The ink last a super long time and doesn't dry up. Highly recommend. Price increased from about 6 months ago, used to be $150 and now $250, demand for people working at home I suppose.

I like the printer. It prints documents very well. I don't like the output tray as it's shorter than the papers that come out. My previous HP printer had a longer output tray and was of sturdier build.

Love the printer! Works great with everything we need: printing, scanning, copying. Great for the home office. The only negative we have found is that it seems to be slower printing in landscape mode.

So far, it is working well. I haven't had any problems. It does not seem as sturdy as the older model that I had, but then it broke down on me.

My third HP All-in-one Office printer. They are great. Cons: They do use a lot of ink however. This newer model is made of much thinner plastic parts than my last one.

the only complaint that I have with this printer is that it is difficult to print envelopes compared to my old printer. You have to remove the paper each time you want to print an envelope.

Just set up printer...very easy to do. I've needed a printer for a very long time. My friend Gail suggested this one. She stated that it works very well and that she is very pleased with her decision to purchase this product when she did.

Overall. Seems to be a good printer. Easy to set up except for the scanner. I have tried tried to set it up to scan to my email am and have not been successful. The link to set it up is very confusing.

Love having this printer as it does everything I need. I do not have a landline so have never used the fax. Sometimes after going to sleep I have to wake it up before scanning.

It is smaller and lighter than our other HP Printer. It is easier to check ink levels. The output try doesn’t Stick out as far as our other printer, but output is easier to access. I’ve already recommended this model to friends and family.

HP printer with lot's of good features, perfect for smaller work areas, elegant and modern design. Only complaint the print speed and the ADF speed are a little slower then some other competitors in it's price/ class range

So far works as expected. Although my last 3 printers have been HP this was not the exact model I wanted as my first choice but, due to availability issues with so many products I settled on this one due to a deadline requirement.

This printer WILL not scan from the ADF to PC via the touchscreen. I sat on phone with support for two hrs. It is a known issue. The result was them telling me to return it and get the 9025e, which will do what was intended from the touchscreen

didn't like getting sucked into their ink program because of the ink cartridges that came with the printer. It doesn't save you money in the long run. I would have better off with another brand and the sales person didn't warn me about the ink program.

Gives me exactly what I needed to replace my old Cannon printer that just quit working. Just wish the darn ink was not so expensive. HP should just give the printer away while making work only if you use their ink.

Printer is OK, but installing this printer on Windows requires some expertise. I have been building my own PCs for decades, I am a software engineer, still I found challenging to get the printer setup. On Windows 10, their "HP Smart" app is never going to find automatically the printer on your network. You will have to find it by IP. After that you will have to try multiple times to install the drivers for it. This app always fails to do so, even if the printer is connected directly through ethernet. Also asking to setup an HP account for doing anything in this app is infuriating. Bottom line, I would not recommend this printer to my family or friends. More frustration than anything for a not so great printing quality when you are able to have it working. 2 Stars because this is still printing when setup, but that's it...

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that you had such a difficult and convoluted experience setting up your printer. What you describe indeed sounds frustrating, especially considering your experience in software and computers. We want all our customers to have an easier time setting up and using our printers than what you’ve endured, so I’ll suggest some resources aimed at getting you there.

If you’ve not done so already, I recommend that you follow a guide to installing and using the HP Smart App, especially the FAQ portion, which covers common questions as well as difficulties users have encountered. Choose the link to whichever document matches your operating system:
      - Windows 10: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04675142
      - Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06188214
      - Android and iOS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03561640

If Windows 10 seems to be part of the issue, you can visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues. There you’ll find our Windows 10 Support Center as well as help with setup issues. Visit that page here:
