    It stopped working, the screen said there was a problem with your HP account. When I tried to log in to my HP account it would not accept my ID, Password, or any of my personal information. I went online to chat with your tech, and they want money to help me.

    This printer constantly disappears from the network—completely unreliable both wireless and wired. Windows Surface Book 2, MacBook Air, and Pixel 4XL all lose contact with the printer. Additionally, the Android app is particularly maddening. Before purchasing this printer do yourself a favor and search the HP site for people seeking help just getting this printer configured out of the box—it cannot maintain a network connection. Period. One star instead of zero. On the miraculous occasion that a person can successfully send a print job to this otherwise useless machine, the pages come out at a decent pace.

    Good printer for the money. HP was a huge pain with the ink exchange....they promised to exchange the ink for my old printer for what I needed for this new printer....took WAY too long.

    We bought this to replace a Photosmart C6180 that served us well for probably ten years. This is terrific printer. We really like the feeder. Works much better than the old printer. Oh, and it's quiet.

    I like this printer a lot. The software interface is super easy to use. I've been working on going paperless in my home office and I like the document feeder for scanning (including 2 sided) and also the scanning speed is great.

    1. This may be an excellent all-in-one printer for a business with IT support but it's NOT AT ALL USER FRIENDLY for an individual consumer, even one with considerable experience with computers. 2. HP's already complicated and confusing instructions are without question designed to make it extremely difficult to use alternative inks, protecting their obscene profits from selling ink.

    I haven't had a chance to use it as the setting up is being unrealistically difficult for whatever the reason with my MAC. Not user friendly for an older person who is not savvy with newer technology. The older way with an easy approach makes this newer tech stuff a failure launch for me. Hope it takes off with a new fuse! LIKE I NEED OUR KIDS TO TAKE OVER MAC AND DO IT FOR US. What a disappointment as I need to use NOW>{

    Scanner does not work; printer barely functional. Swamped with ads. This is a literal piece of garbage. If you want to scan you are prompted to download HP adware that never actually installs or functions. In the end you won't be able to scan. The software you may get to function to print will constantly inundate you with ads to buy ink, DO NOT BUY.

    I used to have the HP 8610 but after 4 years, the printer head was damaged and the price to replace it was expensive than buying a new one. I have decided to give it a chance with this upgraded model. So far so good.

    If you want to throw your money down a drain then by all means buy this printer. It doesn't work from the get go. I followed the instructions to connect it and to begin printing a test page and it would not start no matter what I did it kept repeating the same instructions over and over on how to set it up nd when you followed the instructions it got to the same point again and wouldn't do anything!!! I finally threw my hands up and said enough, your going back........ ;

    Printing quality is ok. Speed of printing is quite good. That’s where the good ends. I bought this on a recommendation from The Wirecutter. Most of the time their recommendations are spot on. This one seems to have missed the mark. This printer ran out of blue ink in less than 2 days and even black and white copies look low quality now. Piece of junk honestly. I wish I had gone with a laser printer.

      Hi there.

      Thanks for the review and description of your experience. While I’m glad to hear that you’re pleased with the print quality and speed of your printer, I’m sorry to hear that it ran out of ink so quickly. I can certainly see why that would be a dubious start to owning a new printer, so I’ll try to offer some helpful suggestions.

      First, I can’t say for certain what happened with the ink supply in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less yet than ones in our Instant Ink program. Still, the amount of time you cite does seem very short. A third possibility is the printer is not reading the cartridges correctly and is giving an inaccurate reading.

      Regardless, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

      I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

    The HP 9015e is a very poor replacement for my old unit which was a HP 8620. I want my old unit back with a new printer head which had failed after 9 years of extraordinary service. I would give the new unit a lower rating if you had something lower than one star.

    This is the second one of these we bought. It works fine. I've found that much to my disappointment these things really want official cartridges, which is a shame. Overall a decent printer for the money.
