For some reason you need to go back and install the scanner software separately and the fax. Should all be done at one time. At least when you have CD installation everything was done at same time.

It sticks, and I have been unable to pry it open. The HP Virtual Support was useless. At some point, I suppose we'll get it open. I hope we don't break anything in the process.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been unable to access your printer’s ink-cartridge carriage for setup, and that you’ve not received the support you need. That sounds like a terrible first impression of the device – and I’m sure not what you’d envisioned when you bought it.
