"SIX MONTHS" OF INK? HA!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Blew through "six months" of ink almost immediately. ALL the cartridges went dead at the same time. Bought printer in Sep. Went ink-less Oct. 25. PLUS, you can't print just in black ink if the colors run out. ALL cartridges need to be full. Disappointed about that. Noisy but efficient. Top crashes down on your arm when opening to use glass top but scans fine. Copies are crisp. Miss my OLD hp printer/scanner.

FIRST Printer... so far so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.MY very first Printer!! Was a little challenging to set up specially being computer illiterate, but with a lil' help from my IT guy, it's Great! I do however; wish it wasn't separate cartridges for the colors & black. 2 would have been better.. 1- multi color and 1- black like my friends printer. SO much Easier!!

A Very Good All-In-One Printer for Most People
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is fast and dependable. I like that the ink cartridges are individual units, so I only have to replace the one that is empty.

Fantastic printer at a very reasonable price point
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After my old HP OfficeJet Pro failed earlier this year following years of loyal service, I began a comprehensive search for a replacement printer for my house/home-office. After doing a thorough search of printers in my price range, I have to say that I can't possibly be happier with my selection of the HP-OfficeJet Pro 9015. It's a reliable, high-quality workhouse and for the current price point, I would be hard pressed to find another printer that suitably meets all my needs. When I began the search process for my house/home-office, I had the following requirements: Daily/monthly printing targets: My family and I print roughly 150 - 250 pages per month, in generally even intervals per work day through the month (I seldom have burst printing of 200 pages at a time, but instead, 5-10 pages per day). Printing throughput (printed pages per minute): Not a huge deal here, but naturally, faster is better. Color-printing requirements: Color printing was a requirement with minimal bleeding of colors a must-have. 2-sided scanning capability: several documents I scan are double-sided so for me, I need to have something that seamlessly works with 2-sided scanning of docs in a single pass. Scanning throughput: This is important to me as I scan quite a bit--I needed something that could consistently scan at 8+ pages per minute. Paper-tray requirement: For home, I only ever use 8.5" x 11" for printing so I only need a single tray. PC/Mac/Chromebook compatibility: I have all three in my house and all would need to link up seamlessly to the printer. Internet connectivity: I have both WiFi and ethernet in my home office so I could use either (though I always prefer hard-wired for reliability purposes). The HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 hit each of the above requirements quite nicely and has surprised me in terms of what it can deliver at such a low price point. I'll break out some of the pros and cons in my eyes: Pros Printed pages are really crisp: This was the first thing that I noticed--any and all color images I print are really sharp and crisp. This was a monumental step-up from my earlier 8600 and surpassed the quality of printouts on all other models I evaluated. This really was a night/day kind of difference. Set-up quickly and easily: So I know that this is always hit or miss with users, but in my case, I had no issue with getting this up and going quickly on my PCs in the house as well as the macs. Installation happened to be simple for me--could have been a blue-moon event, but I'm just relaying my personal experience when setting things up. Start it and forget it: I've had this for about a month, and I have to say that it's by far the easiest printer I've had to deal with. I literally have set it up and have never had to do anything again, except hit "print" or "scan" in the software. No paper jams to date: I haven't had a single paper jam to date which surprises me, even when I consider the auto document feeder (I do a lot of scanning). Again, I'm one month into things so I'll keep my fingers crossed, but so far, so good. Seamless transitions across WiFi networks: I've set this up on WiFi in my home office and I have a couple of access points running different networks--One day, one of my networks went down and the printer automatically migrated to one of my other networks, which I didn't realize until later (as my computer did not automatically shift and I realized something had happened). Pretty nifty and useful feature. Relatively small footprint: So people may disagree with me here, but compared to other printers I was evaluating and also compared to my earlier printer, this one actually is a smaller footprint so it frees up some deskspace in my home office which is definitely a major plus. Cons: Display is pretty small and challenging to read and enter input: Without giving my age away, I'm older and have reading glasses. What I've struggled with most is the display when I originally had to do manually enter some settings (e.g., WiFi settings). I had to literally put myself a couple of inches from the screen to read what was on the display and then enter the inputs. Also, FWIW, inputting info onto the display takes time because of the way the virtual keyboard is set up. Software is "overly elegant": Personally, I think they tried to do too much with the software and add a ton of bells and whistles that are not needed--or at least that I don't use or would ever consider using. As a result, there's a bit of clutter in the software and in my opinion, too many visible options (I think that many of these options could/should be accessed by clicking "Advanced" or something similar). This can make it a bit cumbersome to navigate initially with everything on screen but after a while, you get used to it. Not a huge deal as I've spent the last 20-30 years dealing with "features" embedded in softwares, but just thought I'd highlight this. Overall, I think this is perhaps one of the best purchases I've made in a very long time when it comes to printers. Not only does this unit hit all my requirements (and surpass them), the Pros I listed above far outweigh the cons for me. And, when you combine this with its current price (I purchased mine for around $225 or so), I can't imagine a better solution.
