As someone who had a 20+ year career with HP, I have so say I'm extremely disappointed with my former employer's product. The problems began with the setup. After inserting the four print cartridges, an error appeared in the display that said the black one was missing or was defective. I removed and re-installed it several times with the same error occurring every time. I called support and was connected to someone whose heavily accented English and muffled voice made her nearly impossible to understand. I hung up. On a whim, I powered the printer off an on and presto! The printer now saw the black ink cartridge and I was able to continue with the setup. When I got to the step where it prints a sample page a paper jam occurred. In clearing the paper jam I discovered that the printer had picked up about a dozen sheets of paper at once! Besides that, black ink was smeared in a large spot on the top sheet of paper in the jam. A real mess. I did finally get the printer working. Then it was on to the software that comes with it. First off, the HP Smart user manual from HP's Web site does not match the software! The manual refers to operations and features in the software that aren't in the software. In the end, the software just doesn't have the features I need. So, back it goes.

Easy to use, have all the necessary features for a small business

This is my new printer to replace the old one, the OfficeJet Pro 8600Plus, that had a problem with the print head. Overall, this is a very good printer. It took me a while to configure the fax, but when the setup was done. It works just fine. I recommend this printer to anyone who needs one.

It was very easy to connect this printer to my phone, iPad, and laptop so I could print from all of them wirelessly. The scan features are great as well. You can feed a stack of documents into it and it’ll copy or scan directly to my computer as a file, and to my USB. It also prints very quickly and the quality of prints have been great. This is exactly what I needed for my home office!

I really like my new printer because it’s wireless and I can print from all my devices now. The instant ink plan is a plus.

I was very pleased with the performance of this printer. The print resolution is very sharp and clean. The scans are very clear and aligned perfectly. The set up was relatively easy, considering I am quite the dinosaur when it comes to technology. The delivery was on time, carefully handled and professional. Overall, I rate the product and the delivery experience a 10 out of 10.

HP Rep was in the printer area, and she was accommodating in showing me some features; as we know, BB employees steer clear of any customer contact or questions or know about the products in the store. Setup took under 10 minutes, print the test page, got the scanner page calibrated, and sign up for the ink plan, it was very simple. Devices in the home are all seeing the new printer.
