The downside is if you dont pay the monthly fee for ink after your trial they can stop the printer from printing remotely. SMH always a way to have comtrol. Printer paid for but they have the power to shut you down

Easy setup, prints fast

Definitely needed, had been using an old ink printer from college. It was time to update. The setup with HP Smart app was quick and easy. The email to print feature is really cool. Getting it on your network to share is painless and easy. Fast printer too. A little noisy, but not too bad.

Prints a bit slower than I would like, but the results are great. ***NOTE: I have been printing photos (for various projects) for years, using glossy photo paper. Years ago, I didn't think the type of paper mattered for photos, but now I know differently. With an HP printer, I have had the best results using HP brand paper, Ilford Gallerie Professional Inkjet Photo Range Smooth Gloss Paper and - believe it or not - Kirkland Professional Glossy Inkjet Photo Paper from Costco (I was told that Ilford makes this paper for Costco - but that may/may not be true). Whatever color printer you buy, you may get the best photo results using paper from the same manufacturer as your printer; it is generally formulated to be compatible with the chemical composition of the ink in your printer.
