I also have a 8000 seroes at home and this is way faster. I did have an issue with the print head, but that was after I had printed 500 pages a month for almost a year. Even then, customer service was very helpful and shipped a new print head. Ink is very easy to replace, as was the print head.

Good but not built for longevity.

Overall, it is a good printer however this 2nd purchase was precipitated by the failure of the cartridge rack on my first unit which was only 3 years old. Previous printers I had lasted much longer.

Easy to use, great features, slightly flimsy

The accompanying software makes the good product better. Integrating scanning and printing options with my smartphone didn’t make much sense until I started using it. The remote fax sending capability also works great.

Wireless connection to computer was a nightmare!!

First wireless printer and what a nightmare!! Finally got a LIVE person at HP (after a week of many hours and heartaches trying to understand the directions. This person was great. HPO--try doing more of the LIVE help early in the game if one is having problems and maybe you can rectify some of your customer service issues.

The directions did not identify the printer by the correct number and that was confusing but with HP's help line I was able to get it working and I am very happy with it. Not being particularly talented when it comes to computers the HP were very patient and I appriciated their help.
