    I only bought this printer because it is the only one that provides the functions I need without having terrible reviews. Now I'm questioning my decision. HP officejet all-in-one printers are usually fine, but I'm having trouble with this one shutting down/freezing at random times. All diagnostic efforts have failed and now the printer has started giving an error code. Time to take it back. Its still under warrant.

    Ever since buying my 2nd printer and it lasted years! Bought in 2007, my baby finally gave out. So I got a new HP and hope this one will last just as long, but honestly, I've never had problems with HP products - keep it up HP and I'll continue buying!

    Not as good as the HP 8600 that it replaced. Plastic pieces seem very flimsy I am guessing they will break quickly. Setup was easy.
