Operating costs too high
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this printer to replace an old HP printer that had served me really well for nearly ten years. The replacement ink was getting difficult to find and it was starting to sound funny, so it felt like time to replace. Everyone told me not to go with HP again, but I've been HP for years with few issues, so I pushed the button on this printer. Wow, do I regret it. Setup was awful and continues to be a problem. I might be in the middle of a print and it says the connection was dropped, or it says the printer is offline when it was literally just printing. Constantly have to run back into the room to shut it off and restart it to get it to reconnect - and then send the document to print again. I tried customer service multiple times but it's all chat bots and canned solutions that never worked. And the app. Ugh. HP encourages all printing through the app. Which does beg the question: how safe is our data when everything we print is funneling through HP systems? Decided not to go with the ink plan and just purchase my ink as needed. But when the printer ran out of ink nearly right away, and I saw how much the replacement ink was - more than the printer cost - I signed up for the plan. I'm not sure how HP counts pages but it wasn't even a week before they started billing by the page because I supposedly had printed 300 pages already. Maybe so, with all those starts and stops due to the supposed connectivity issues. Oh, and did I mention the horrible grinding noises that emit from the machine anytime it's asked to do something? It sounds like it's eating itself alive. The only redeeming factor with this machine is that the ADF does duplex scanning/printing. But that feature alone isn't worth the printing costs and connection headaches, so I'm dumping this nearly brand new printer and going with another brand. It might be just perfect for someone with different printing needs and more tolerance for the chronic offline issues, but running this thing for just a little home hobby office isn't cost effective at all.

Works well once installed
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I consider myself fairly "tech savvy", but it took me 3 hours to get the printer working on my home network. This included a long phone call to BestBuy support who did solve the problem successfully. Now all the functions work well. So i would give just 1 star for ease of setup. but 5 stars for subsequent performance

Don’t buy!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not plug and play for sure. After scanning QR code for installation, directions online don’t correspond with printer screen and printer software doesn’t load. HP download page lists 9120e driver, not 9125e. Had to contact Geek Squad to get printer to work and they couldn’t get it to work. Geek squad took control of my computer and confirmed nothing was wrong with my equipment. Took printer back and got another, same problem. Took that one back to get yet another and kind of got that one working with Geek Squad help again. Loses WiFi connection. Every day have to turn off then turn on WiFi. Not happy about the whole situation. My old WiFi printer worked fine until the ink cartridge's went bad. Should have spent the $110 for the replacement cartridge even though it was a 10-year old printer. Kicking myself for tossing out the old printer before I got the new one working. Had I kept the old printer, I would return this new printer and repaired the old one. Another issue, the touchscreen on printer has such small keyboard icons that it is impossible not to fat finger. My wife needs fax for her work and can’t type in the phone numbers. Always tapping and deleting trying to key in correct numbers with no success. With technology supposedly getting better, why is everything getting harder to use? Never had problems like this with a printer.

Efficient, Reliable, and Worth the Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been very happy with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e. The setup was straightforward, and connecting it to my Wi-Fi was quick. The print quality is crisp for both black-and-white documents and color pages, and the automatic two-sided printing saves both time and paper. The scanner and copier are easy to use, and the touchscreen makes navigating the menus simple. I also like that it includes three months of Instant Ink, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a reliable all-in-one printer that’s a great fit for a home office or small business.

Good functionality - questionable connectivity
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer has the functionality we were looking for. However, I've had to engage with Geek Squad twice due to issues between the printer and desktop. I'm still not able to print from my phone or Ipad (which should not be an issue).

Overall very good printer.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good printer. Works well, connects to wifi easily for wireless printing. Only reason for 4 stars is cost of ink replacements.

A few hiccups.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought HP computers/laptops/printers since 1992. The first HP printer I bought to work with a PC Junior! This model has all-in-one features. The speed of printing is good. The menu display instructions are easy to understand, follow, and apply. I do have to mention a few cons: The description states it is quiet. but not. It sounds like the train repair station I live near! The tray holding the printed paper cannot be adjusted . It is not quite long enough to catch the print properly. These factures will not deter me from buying HP Printers again. Although, it would be nice if they could be improved!

Difficulties with a new printer.

Very nice Home Office Printer.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 series to an HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e series. Just like it's predecessor you have the option to subcribe to InstaInk. This model of printer will come with 3 months free, then you may cancel. The setup for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e is pretty basic. I first followed instructions on the printer. Add the printer ink cartridges and run an alignment sheet. I added the printer to my home network . I then used the HP+ Smart app for Windows pc to install. I chose add a printer option and the printer was added to my HP account. The printing is very good, colors are very vibrant. When copying, the colors are very vibrant. The scan photos and documents are true to real color. This printer prints up to 11" x 14". It has one paper tray that pulls out. You can feed paper through the top feeder tray to copy or scan. You can set this printer up using the HP+ Smart app, or scan or copy and paste the barcode on the setup guide. The HP+ Smart app is available in the AppleStore, Google Play, or Windows for PC store. Highly Recommend. Great for a Small Home Office.

I worry about mink
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had the previous model and it did a good job of what a printer does but it used a lot of ink relative to pages printed. The printer head was bad so we decided to just replace the printer. We have only used the 9125e for a month. It does a good job. What I don’t like is what I believe to be over complicated adjustments to change print peremeters like reduction. We will soon discover if it eats a lot of ink at a premium price.
