Watch out for quality control issues

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially purchased this because of its impressive specs under the hood with its 8 core ryzen 7 cpu and gtx 1660 ti for around $1300. Came with a pretty good 144hz 1080p display also. It seemed like a good buy... The first unit I purchased, I had to return because the screen brightness was locked on full blast. The keyboard shortcuts as well as the slider in the notifications bar would not lower the brightness. I figured it was a 1 in a million dud and so I exchanged it with another unit and to note best buy made it very easy to swap it out. My second unit had crooked hinges that attach the screen to the keyboard! My third and final unit seemed to be defective as well and had issue with thermal throttling when gaming. Which really shocked me given the great reviews this laptop had on youtube. Overall a nice looking laptop with lots of potential with its looks and spec sheet but QC needs to be stepped up. Thumbs up for best buys customer service though! Ended up with a lenovo legion 5 and I'm loving it!
