This is a great laptop. You can easily upgrade it for 32 or even 64gb of RAM. It's got excellent performance thanks to the Ryzen 7 4800H processor and the temps look amazing. It has amazing reviews from every YouTube channel that has reviewed it. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that BestBuy has made an error in the specification of the product that I have pointed out through customer service and it still wasn't corrected. It is stated that it has a 1080p camera. That is not the case. It has one of the worst 720p cameras I have ever tried (and I even own an old HP Envy from 2013). This is quite an error considering that now a lot of people (like me) are using the laptops to work from home and have to attend meetings. If you need your camera to actually show a picture that sort of looks like you, get an external webcam.

Good laptop with great performance. Bestbuy had a great price for it and it is fairly still modern hardware with the current condition of graphics cards out there. Display looks great and performs well at higher refresh rates than regular monitors for smoother gameplay which is a key feature for this laptop.

I do not "game" so i only know it works good for what i do so far , two weeks. i write and watch video , cast to tv. all my internet stuff. i am worried about the plastic case. it runs smooth, fast. the lighting for the key board is nice.i do not type so well and i can use the lights to divide the keyboard, it makes it easier .ask me in six months.

Absolutely love this laptop! Was a great purchase when it was on sale. Only needed to upgrade the RAM and the storage but other than that plays all the games I want and is super fast and the heat management is even better! My next computer will be an Omen again!

Running it for a coule of weeks. No issues. If you are looking for XMP, it is not available, even if you install RAM with XMP. Fan is pretty noisy under load. Good battery life in a typical desktop environment. I do recommend it if you are not a performance enthusiast. Does not look cool, just a workhorse.

I absolutely adore this laptop. I’ve never had a good laptop growing up and playing video games on my old ones became the bane of my existence. Now I don’t have an issue (except with some mods, thanks sims). I love my laptop so much.

Was worried about not enough memory initially but after using it for almost a year, I found this machine pretty preppy and the 8GB ram seems to be fine for normal gaming and use. All in all, this is a pretty solid laptop for its price and I am happy with its performance.

Pros: Great laptop by HP. Nothing like their older models. Screen is vibrant and the calibration is pretty good out of the box. Keyboard is also nice and tactile. Cons: The fan control is not user-customizable. There are only two options (Auto/Max) and the Auto mode spins up quite high at random times.

Great start for a gaming laptop, before the kids go crazy and decide they need to build a desktop, plays Terraria with Mods and a lot of Minecraft Mods have ran into the problem with to large of a mod pack lagging out the laptop, but other than that it's working great

Thing has been nasty since day 1. Not a game it hasn’t been able to run. And this is all if you use it as intended and not like a dumby. Best piece of tech I’ve ever bought to date.

I went looking for a new laptop because mine died, and I needed something that could handle streaming class sessions and graphic design work. This laptop was recommended as it has more of what I needed than most other laptops that were at the store. It's absolutely perfect for what I am doing. Attending classes online and creating graphics for work, the only issue that I have is there isn't enough memory for all of it but that's something I'll probably expand later on. And what made this an even better deal is this model was the same price as the basic version, so this was a definite win in my book.

Got a great deal on this laptop. Performance is good which is the main reason I bought this pc. I am not a geek, so dont judge! Little bit disappointed with its Exterior, leaves marks and finger prints

Very good value (look for sale, I got this for $849). AMD processor works great, and the graphics card is able to run pretty much every game at 60fps. Comes with a lot of annoying freeware, but other than that, seems like a very good mid-tier gaming laptop!

I absolutely adore this purchase. It has helped me with my videoing and gaming tremendously, since the recovery of CoVid. It does not have the cd rom setting so I thought that would be a reason to take it back, but Best Buy has items that help with that.

HP Omen is good for gaming. It is a little heavy for day to day work. Doesn’t close completely but I saw that in store. The fan is loud when gaming but it is nice that you can control the fan intensity and it is quieter when just browsing the internet or using Office products only.

Love this laptop for my son. He wanted to get into PC gaming so this was his Christmas present. Great device for a starter. Although I don’t know much about gaming laptops read the other ratings and reviews. They are also good!!

Excellent gaming computer, couldn’t ask for more from a laptop. Handles games very well. Got it on sale for about $400 less than normal price and so glad we bought it. Highly recommend for someone looking for a good quality gaming laptop

Alot to like about this laptop. Ryzen 7 works great so far, gtx1660 6gb is very smooth on rocket league(i am still a console gamer and definitely better tha ps4 for average framerate. The display is an lG 144hz panel that looks great and smoothness for web browsing is great. 4 zone rgb keyboard is nice( remember rgb does not have white backlight in case you are wondering). 8gb of ram is not enough for some games to run, but upgrades are easy with 8 screws to access insides. there is an open m.2 ssd slot for a second ssd. keyboard feels very good, the edges of the metal keyboard deck are pretty sharp, but not too bad. The lid does squish pretty easily, so just be aware. The fans are not super quiet, but the keyboard never gets hot, due to big air vents on the back and one on the side. the top grating is the main air intake. Speakers are on the bottom, but acceptable. bought on black friday sale.

Powerhouse of a laptop for the $$. Runs Call of Duty Blackops: Cold War and Cyberpunk 2077 with no issues on the 8 gigs of ram. Use the Omen center to put it in performance mode and customize your rgb backlit keyboard. Great purchase.
