I use this laptop for work for mobile development. This laptop is very fast and responsive. Did have to upgraded the RAM to 32GB to eliminate slow down when I run VMs, since 16GB is not enough for running VMs and visual studio together.

My son needed a new gaming laptop and we decided to go with this one. It wasn't the absolute top of the line but one down from that. It's been absolutely amazing!! He's very happy. Here's hoping he doesn't spill water on this one.

Amazing gaming laptop. And asthetics are great too. I am not a gamer, but I bought it due to the superior specs. the downside was that this laptop is heavy and noisy (I guess, every gaming laptop is). So I have to return it.

Bought this laptop 8/15, by 9/1 the screen was having problems. Completely out and sent back to HP on 9/27. Was supposed to be gone a week now the estimate is 10/30 and hats if the part comes in. Over a full month at the repair center. In this day of remote work, you can’t afford to be without your laptop for over a month. It was a great PC bit the wait for a replacement LED panel is unacceptable.

Overall the computer did its job with no problems, the thermals were cool and I had no problems playing fortnite and cod. The only draw back was that I felt the quality of the materials used for the computers were cheap. I returned this computer and purchased an Alienware m17 r3 and couldn’t be happier.

Great laptop! Very fast and runs cool! I was actually thinking about getting the new Mac M1 but I'm glad I didn't. This PC is amazing! Plays any game I throw at it, runs all tasks buttery smooth and boots up in 10 seconds or less.

This computer is very fast, especially in start-up. Normal use is no problem, and gaming is great. The display is sharp and precise. I do miss having a separate number pad, but that was a choice in order to get a smaller frame. While this is early days, I believe this laptop will serve me well for years to come.

Finally a computer that doesn't freeze when I open a Word document. Only downside is the battery life is kind of garbage but it's honestly worth it to keep it plugged in considering how capable it is at keeping up with my schooling and my games.

Everything about this laptop is amazing there’s just one thing holding it back from being one of the best and it’s that the onboard storage is not enough for long time use might wanna get something else with more storage or find a way to add storage to the laptop.

Great computer. Games runs effortless with no lag or delays. animation is smooth. My brother liked it so much that he bought one! BTW the price was comparable to the online sellers and I was able to pick it up and use it the same day of purchase.

This laptop is extremely fast. The battery life is fine, but I'm always in performance mode so it doesn't bother me (I keep it plugged in). The display is beautiful, the keys are smooth and make chunky clicks. I'm beyond happy with this purchase.

This laptop is fantastic! Knocks the pants off of anything I throw at it. I was worried it wouldn’t, but it didn’t disappoint. If you don’t have the space for a full blown rig then this laptop is a good replacement.

I bought the i-7/RTX-2060 version. I had given up on PC gaming a few years ago, but was really wanted to try the new MS Flight Simulator. I'm not sure why I decided that I had to have a laptop and not a desktop, but I did. I spent weeks looking for a good deal. I kept missing the super deals from slickdeals, so I decided to just find the best deal I could and not look for a closeout. I would pick one, then read some more and find a feature that I really wanted which was not on the one I had picked. I almost went with a Ryzen (still kind of wish that I had), but eventually decided on the RTX-2060. After more days of research I kept coming back to the Omen. It seemed to do a much better job with thermals than the other brands in the same price range. Then, Best Buy put it on sale. I finally took the plunge. I've been very happy with my purchase. It seems "good enough" for Flight Simulator, and much better than good enough for the other games that I've tried. Highly recommended.

I wanted a gaming laptop and the Best Buy rep suggested this one. It wasn't bad but it did get hot quickly when I played Diablo and COD on it which made me feel that it wasn't for me. Returned it in two weeks.

It could just be the program i'm running... it's awfully loud... I read other reviews it is a little hotter than some other models so I try not to keep too many programs open at one time although It definitely can handle it no problem... Google chrome takes up an awful lot of RAM...

Absolute beast. Great price handles Adobe suite well and the games I installed as well. The storage could be better but you can add an additional m.2 ssd. The track pad takes time getting used to however.

good speed, boots up like lightning~ runs apps perfectly, great graphics. Poor sound and no camera. Runs very hot, and it burnt out the power brick in two weeks. :-(

This is an awesome gaming laptop. It is replacing my Alien laptop. My new HP Omen has better quality graphics and is considerably faster. I love it so much I am going to buy a gaming Omen desktop!

This machine is a beast! I purchased it to host Zoom sessions, and it does more than I ever imagined. Whatever app I throw at it, it takes the punishment and asks for more. I love this laptop!

Engineering student needed to upgrade from Surface to more powerful machine to be able to run more CPU/Memory intensive applications. So far, it has met the standard and student is satisfied with the gift. It is a great value for the spec, and quality seems good so far.
