I have been using this laptop for three weeks now. It's a great value (performance/price). It runs cool, has powerful graphics and is well made. Some have criticized the "flimsiness" of the lid/screen. I don't see a problem there for someone who takes care of their gear. Speaking of the screen - the 300Hz refresh rate is nice. Note: Spend some time right off the bat setting everything up and running all the Windows updates and HP utility updates. It's best to get that all out of the way so you can enjoy the laptop.

It’s a great lap top but over heats really fast ,however the built in cooling fan do help but it’s a little on the loud side , operating system and everything else is ok I would of preferred that it did not overheat , this should be a tad cheaper for the quality overall

Only had this for a few days, but it runs AutoCAD Civil 3D better than half the computers at the office. Excellently design for heat dissipation; huge heat sinks and great fans. If it doesn’t blow up or anything weird in the near future I’d say get one for sure!

This is a very good laptop that checks off all the points I need. Good gpu power, snappy processor and with a few tweaks can reduce the noise level when running games. I would recommend for anyone looking for a laptop. The weight isn’t much is a burden either.

I love this gaming laptop, Runs fast with the games I play, watching pron on the 144hz screen looks great too! Runs cool and isn't heavy at all. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice gaming laptop that won't break the bank.

Great laptop bought it as a replacement for my 12yo laptop. What a big difference in features and technology. Bought this on sale definitely worth it. Only complaint is the battery doesn’t last long under 4hrs but that’s ok it came with a charger.

Wow! is what you will say! this is by far the best laptop i have ever owned. makes a big difference when I play games. Do not cheap out and buy a i5 or cheaper laptop! you need this one !

The Hp Omen is a solid laptop. I Think I'm going to enjoy it for years. I don't know why it just works. In spite of the little problems that pop up. I think it is worth buying at best buy.

The heating solution on the unit is better, but not great. Battery life is a useless stat for this laptop as it barley survived an hour of BF5. However, its great for plugged in gaming and everyday work. I would recommend investing in a cooling pad as well.

We bought this for gaming and for school work. Downloads are super fast and games run smoothly. My son loves the keyboard and says it plays all of his games without lagging. Easily able to connect accessories. Fairly lightweight and sleek design.

This laptop is great for gaming! The games that I tried out so far are Ark Survival Evolved, Rust, and DayZ. The three games plays really smooth.

I use for engineering with AutoDesk/AutoCAD & it is amazing. Plenty of speed & graphics. Omen is by far the best I have tried. It says gaming but functions perfectly for all my engineering needs while I travel. Work fully remote, never an issue.

This is great for gamers. Very fast refresh rate. I have a disability where I need a fast refresh rate. This helps somewhat but not enough for me. Not the fault of the makers.

I got it mostly for my son. I love it. We dont really do any intense gaming on it, but it's great for what we use it for. The battery doesn't last long. I imagine if we tone down the settings itll last longer.

I bought this gaming laptop to work with CAD software and it works very well with them. It very fast to load the software and the files. I am very glad about this purchase. I really recommend buying this affordable workstation laptop.

Love this laptop works well. Starts up quickly. The only negative is there’s only 4 quadrants to the keyboard for RGB lighting and it’s either static or off. Also no CD drive but I have one from a previous laptop that works just fine.

This is my second Omen gaming laptop and I’m very happy. Just wish the fan were quieter, but a 7.1 headset drowns it out just fine. I play MMOs and online dungeon crawls and have experienced no loss of quality or experience.

In the first several days that I've had this laptop I got a stuck pixel on the top left corner on my screen. As an artist, this is very annoying. I have been trying to remove it myself but nothing seems to work. This is very unfortunate. But, the artwork I make is untouched by this ailment and this laptop could run games that my old pc could never. It's smooth and can handle a lot. Nothing to complain about besides the stuck pixel, if it weren't for that happening in the short time that I've owned this product then it'd be golden.

It was a great laptop. Played most games at epic benchmarks. However if youre looking for something to game on. Id suggest going for a desktop, they are usually more poweful when comparing similar gpu numbers

Powerful laptop which I use for CAD interior design. The graphics card performs better than most desktop pc's and the SSD is lightning quick. This PC is top shelf!
