Love this computer! It plays my games wonderfully (revisiting WoW for Shadowlands lol) and is just what I needed for my schoolwork. Display is great but I keep mine hooked to a dock most of the time. No hiccups, easy setup.

I bought this laptop primarily to use with my Oculus Rift so I can be mobile with and share the experience with friends and family and this laptop does NOT disappoint! Very stylish and plays my games at the highest settings!

way better than the pavilion i had just as far as runing games and the rtx 2060 just made all the difference i was realy looking 4. so happy i made the buy....

Good laptop, however in the benchmark tests do not score as much as other laptops amongst the same price range. There is an updated version with Nvidia GTX 2070Super on amazon, that has stronger specs for a tiny difference.

Overall, the laptop is good. It was an open box item of last year's model. The i7-10750 and RTX2060 are good enough for me to run Dirt 2.0 or MS Flight Simulator simultaneously with OSB without any difficulty. Haven't really tried any other processor or graphics intensive applications. The purchase process was a mixed bag. Since this was a rare open-box item, I drove an hour southward after buying it online, but they could not produce the laptop even after speaking to the local Manager. I cancelled my purchase and went to the parking lot to call another store 1 hour eastward to confirm whether they had it in inventory, but my call was routed to a call center and they wouldn't route my call to the other store. I went back in to the original store and luckily found an associate who knew that the laptop was located in a case with iPads. Despite trying for more than two hours they were unable to complete the transaction at the service desk because of a computer glitch. They were not able to register the serial number and could not complete the sale in store. I ended up purchasing the laptop online from my phone and was able to bring it home. If it hadn't been such a discount for the open box item, I would have given up too. There was another hitch though. Every time I plugged in the power supply I got an error message indicating that the power supply was not correct and performance might suffer. Despite being listed as Satisfactory condition, only missing the manual, I found that the power supply had been substituted and the power supply I received was only 135W, not the 200W unit indicated as the actual part on the HP Part Surfer website. I tried calling the store, but again the call was routed to a call center and I haven't pursued it any further (so far).

Good gaming laptop. Does get pretty hot when running. Had it for 3 months now and have had 0 issues with it even with it being a refurbished one. Just a heads up to potential buyers, this only has m.2 ports.

Incredibly powerful for a laptop, and even chews through my VR games on an Oculus Rift. I mostly use it for graphics and video content creation, and using the NVIDIA Studio Drivers makes my Adobe products pop!

Great computer. It's fast and powerful. I haven't had issues with it. The screen resolution is top notch. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a strong PC with great value. This is it. Thank you.

This is probably the best laptop you can get with these specs for the price. The only issue I have is the screen has a lot of play and flex. This should not be an issue because the screen is plastic and not glass.

Honestly runs triple a games with absolutely no issues, while also being connected to a mouse and keyboard and a second monitor, love it.

HP has done it again. You can't beat the price when you get an I7 and RTX 2060 graphic card of the hood. The beauty of it's design is breath taking! Overall, I'm still finding way to push this laptop's power.

Just needed a decent gaming laptop for a kid just getting into online pc gaming. Preferably not a bank breaker, built to withstand a few accidents, plenty of computational beef, it’s all there and then some. And by some I mean the 150 pounds of HP bloatware and the bottomless pit of free trials. I am so sick of manufacturers pretending to do consumers a favor by making otherwise independent hardware depend on company software to run right (read “not start a fire”). It could be worse, at least it’s not a Dell, but still, minus one star for being control freaks.

This is a great laptop for many purposes. Good for gaming but also for photo and video editing. It has great resolution and speed to handle most things you would want to do. Definitely recommend this computer.

Great laptop for on the go gaming or minimalist desktop setup. Only issue I have had with it is slow battery discharge while plugged in under heavy load (intesive games). I don't know if it is a power supply issue or just power consumption of the PC. Display is super smooth and responsive. 300hz may seem overkill with the RTX 2060 but is fantastic with e-sports titles and productivity. I definitely appreciate the new esthetics straying away from the typical 'gaming laptop look.' Overall definitely recommend for 1080p gaming on the go. Decent vattery life when used on hybrid graphics mode for productivity or streaming for a gaming laptop.

Powerful and sleek laptop that handles the most ambitious PC gaming. Definitely a great value. Love using it for more than just gaming.

I'm so glad I got this laptop. I bought it initially for my son and his coding class but I'm using it more and more, the speed is awesome and the quality of the picture is great, absolutely love it

With the “virtual school” disgusting chrome books they give out, we decided to give our son an upgrade. He uses It for everything and says gaming on it is better than some of his friends desktops.

Brought it by mistake. Wanted the AMD version, i am guessing people prefer intel for gaming as gaming requires low and fast amount cores.

I think HP did a great job with this laptop. Great laptop for people who want to game or edit videos. Great size and isn't to loud.
