It's much better than what some reviewers say. Fans are always on but it doesn't get loud unless you're gaming, rendering or under heavy load.

Laptop works well all games we have tried and is great for a college student to combine fun and work.

Great laptop for gaming and got just regular use. Only bad thing is low battery power it will die in three hours so just keep it plugged in

The heating becomes an issue when it's plugged in, so you'd think you would unplug it when fully charged. Except the battery only lasts 45 minutes.

I bought a laptop online. It was about the same price from a reputable seller. It lasted 6 hours before it crashed and I couldn't get to a reboot/salvageable screen. It was more expensive than this one and I had to ship it back for a refund. This laptop is just as good, a bit less expensive, and I'm sitting here a couple of weeks later and its still running. I will never order another laptop online through Amazon. I know if I have a problem, I can go back to the store instead of waiting a week and a half for a refund.

I bought this laptop for my 11-year-old son and we love it he also uses it for school it's great with the graphics it's great with memory

Overall great gaming laptop that doesn't scream "gaming" from the looks of it. I'm sure it's powerful enough to run almost anything you throw at it but I haven't tried to max it out. The trackpad is noisy when you click or scroll and the not so silent fans will kick on from time to time without really knowing why. Top lid/screen flexes a bunch but not really worried about it. Essentially, if you want a high powered laptop that cuts a few corners to keep the cost down and doesn't look like a neon circus, this is the laptop for you!

I did a ton of research before purchasing a new laptop, and I'm very happy with deciding to go with this one. The best thing about this laptop is its thermal performance. The fans keep the CPU/GPU when gaming at incredibly low temperatures for a laptop. They do ramp up and get pretty loud, but I don't mind it too much. The only negative would probably be the poor battery life, so this laptop is more of a desktop replacement. Don't expect to be able to sit on a park bench while working on this laptop for very long.

This laptop is very nice and functions very well it’s just the battery doesn’t last that long and if it did it would make it perfect

This computer is great for gaming, i used It on heavy games like sims 3 (which is opened world with millions of redesign able textures) and plays flawlessly with the packs that i have. And also it’s very light weight and slim. Would recommend to a friend. Thanks to the employee who helped me look for this computer now i can Play my games in peace.

Laptop is.working very well for what I purchased it for...but battery life.couls be better.

My son absolutely loves his laptop. Perfect for gaming and works smoothly for the remote learning even though he games on it.

I use it mostly for photo editing (lightroom and photoshop). It has been a much needed upgrade in speed compared to my prior pc.

Amazing laptop, incredibly responsive. Love the RTX2060 graphics card. The only thing this thing is lacking is more strorage.

This is a really great machine for the price. At first, I was a little skeptical of purchasing an HP machine, but this one has given me no problems, and there's very little bloatware that comes preinstalled with the machine, aside from like an antivirus trial which is easily uninstalled. The temperature is very well regulated, the keyboard feels nice, it has every port you can think of which is nice. My only complaint is that the charger is a bit bulky, but that's just nitpicky. I highly recommend it.
