the laptop is good , only thing i purchased an open box excellent certified and the one delivered to me was scratched and does not look brand new as advertised, i contacted the customer service and they were helpful, they shipped me another one but unfortunately it was also scratched, so eventually i had to accept it after reaching an agreement with bestbuy.

Got this computer on the day it came out from Best Buy. I was very excited to use it, but every time I do anything that’s the least bit intensive, the fans come on like a tornado. It really takes some of the enjoyment away from using the computer. I’m not even talking about high end gaming—even casual games are loud. If I were you, wait until this is on sale. Not worth full price.

It has been quite a while since I purchased any products from HP. I have been a Dell person for quite some time. I purchased an Omen Desktop about 6 months ago and really like it. So when it came time ot upgrade my Laptop I figured I would purchase another Omen. I really like the quality and weight of the machine. I would recommend this to anyone who either wants a nice gaming rig or someone who does a lot of graphic intesive work (Like I do.).

I owned this laptop and the 2070super max q 4k screen version... there was barely any increase if performance... my games still had the same fps in both and also both laptops wont run any 4k games without lag... youll maybe get 20fps.. really think about this laptop if you really wanna just play 1080p gaming.. its fast and works well the screen is okay i dont see why 300hz the 4k 60hz was still much better... yeah these omen are good but could be better

The display is not half as bad as I thought, the 300 hz is quite overkill but still helpful when gaming.

Best purchase I have made as a laptop it runs amazing!

This unit has been able to handle every game I throw at it on high settings, Cod Warzone, Horizon zero dawn, Borderlands 2 and more. The 300hz screen is vibrant and pops, the color accuracy is amazing, performance is great and the cooling system on this unit more than does the job as the laptop is never burning hot like my previous unit "Dell G5" the Omen command center rewards you for playing games. You really can't go wrong with this one.
